𝟮𝟲: Jeno's lust

"WHAT?"

Jaemin steals yet another glance but it lasts just a second or two.

"What do you mean your father?"

Jeno doesn't even get to open his mouth when Jaemin goes on again.

"And what the fuck is that name? Asmo–"

"Don't say his name out loud," Jeno succeeds to cut in.

"Or what?"

"The demon might accept it as you trying to summon him."

Jaemin freezes which give Jeno some time to explain.

"I know that this whole thing will sound crazy, but I'm your Jeno. There isn't any demon inside of me, no one possessed me. I'm still me. I was always like that."

"You're lying."

"Trust me, Jaemin, there is no demon who would possess a worthless human just to date another human. If one does so, they'll try to create chaos in this world, not play a dating simulator. The body they're controlling wouldn't look as good as mine either. A possessed body decomposes in hours."

Jaemin is still stiff and is looking down on the floor but Jeno knows he heard him.

"I'm not a human. I'm not a demon. I'm a half-human, half-demon. I was born because of a demon and woman's lovemaking, planned or not, I don't know. My father is a great Asmodeus. A high-rank demon."

Jaemin slowly moves his eyes on Jeno. Does he believe it or not, it's hard to tell. Jaemin just stares. There are no emotions to read on his face and he knows it.

"Jaemin, please," Jeno whispers. "You already know about demons. You know that it's possible."

There's no change in Jaemin's face. For the first time, Jeno realizes that humans are way scarier than demons. Of course, demons have horrifying appearances, but a silent human is way scarier. You don't know what to expect.

"Have I ever hurt you?" Jeno starts the emotional talks. "I may be half-demon but I've never brought chaos to his world with my other existence. I'm almost human with weird powers."

"What powers?"

Jeno gets happy that Jaemin responds, but his question is frightening. The half-demon doesn't want to tell that he's related to lust but he knows that there's better not to hide anything.

"Asmodeus, my great father is a demon of lust and fire. As I'm a half-human, I got only the powers that involve feelings and that's is lust."

"What does that mean, Jeno?" Jaemin groans, he seems impatient.

At least the name lets Jeno know that Jaemin has already beat the thought of a demon possession off his head and knows that it's his boyfriend. Even though hearing his name alone is scary. Jeno prefers "baby" but he can't think about that now, can he?

"I produce lust. Whenever I'm full of it, I have to share it with humans. I can make people lust by looking at them and passing a little bit of me. Then I snap my fingers and it's done."

Jaemin widens his eyes.

"I have seen you do this before. Jeno, what the hell!"

"I have to mess with people for my own sake. If not, I get really sick..."

"Have you ever used your powers on me?"

Jeno expected such a question. But how could he answer it?

"Before? Yes, I used my powers on you when we were strangers. I just couldn't believe that one human was ignoring everything I'm doing," Jeno smiles. "Until I you told me you're asexual. I stopped instantly."

Jaemin doesn't smile, though. Gosh, that's scary!

"I'm demisexual now if it's not your job," he says coldly.

"Why do you think I did something?"

"I think that you're lying, Jeno. It happened all of sudden. I'm speaking about sudden needs to have sex with you. I was so surprised that it happened to me. But now I'm starting to believe that you did something to me."

"I didn't."

Jeno takes a step closer and this time Jaemin doesn't move back. But he's still angry which makes Jeno stop before he could come any closer.

"I truly love you which is why I never used my powers on you. I wanted everything to be natural. That is exactly what we have."

Natural... The lust between them is sure natural, but what about the love part Renjun took care of? It wasn't natural, but Jeno can't say that it was forced too.

"Jeno... I don't know. I'm really confused right now."

The half-demon gets an idea.

"You know about lust now. The lust you feel when you're with me. Your lust."

"It's weird, Jeno. It's something I have never thought and felt before..."

"Do you want to know how my lust works?"

Jaemin gets intrigued. He's still tense and angry, but it doesn't change the fact that he loves Jeno.

"I think I can use my powers on you now. If that works you'll know that it's my first time doing that. Because my lust is not the usual lust humans feel. It's an intense one."

Jeno extends his arm.

"Do you want to try?"

Jaemin hesitates but in the end, he gives his hand to Jeno. When he does so, he looks determined.

"Just don't kill me afterward," he glares.

"I'm not an incubus," Jeno laughs.
