"cut!"

you mentally cheered. the actors have all done well, and the set was being wrapped up for the day. you went over the script one more time, highlighting the parts where the talents had improvised. you smiled, satisfied with the direction and production of your script so far.

you had worked on this story for years, and were grateful and very excited when the producer had reached out to you after you sent out some of your scripts to different production companies.

"good job everyone!" the director had said as everything was being packed and the actors got ready to return to their dressing rooms.

today's set was held in the studio, since most of the scenes that the director wanted to get over with were stunts and required green screens as well as other advanced equipment. you helped out a little bit with the wrap-up, folding up chairs and picking up some of the props to put aside.

"y/n, great job so far. i'm excited to see how this will turn out when we're finished," the producer pat your back and smiled at you.

thank you and me too, you replied. she nodded at you and left to discuss something with the director. you put aside the things you were holding and grabbed the script and your schedule for this film, placing them on a nearby table and going over them again to make sure you were on track.

you were so engrossed in reading through the documents that you didn't realise someone had walked up behind you until they tapped you on the shoulder. you turned around, expecting the director, but was pleasantly surprised when it wasn't. you smiled, your script still in hand.

"oh! mr. h/n," you greeted politely. he was the main lead for your movie they were filming. "i thought you already left,"

he furrowed his eyebrows. "i've told you to stop calling me that," he chided.

"just call me h/n,"

you chuckled, shaking your head. though a rookie actor, he was already famous and well-liked, while you were just a normal scriptwriter who was only getting your first real movie produced. though the both of you were about the same age, the level of respect was different, and you knew that. you didn't mind it though, you accepted that it would be long before you would be on the same level as he is.

"okay, mr. just h/n, but you know i can't do that," you scrunched your nose at him while pouting.

you imagine your face looked funny, since he let out a laugh with his head thrown back. you let yourself smile. you get why h/n was well-like among people and his fans. he was kind to everyone, talking to everybody and even buying everyone coffee every once in a while. he was also very down-to-earth, even though he had countless people running behind him for an autograph.

admittedly, you had also taken a liking for this man as you watched him in interviews and his previous movies through your tv screen at home. it was an honour to be working with your celebrity crush, and watching him interact with both his job and the people around him had also contributed to your feelings towards him.

it was no more than a crush to you though, you thought that he was way out of your league.

"i- uh, i was wondering if you- uh, if you were free after this?" he rubbed the back of his neck awkwardly, a sheepish smile plastered on his face.

you found it cute how he was struggling to form a proper sentence. his eyebrows furrowed when his gaze landed on the documents you were holding. before you could say anything, he spoke again.

"i guess not... that was kinda dumb, sorry," he said, chuckling.

bummer, he thought.

there was a new cafe that recently opened at the end of the street, and he wanted to ask if you'd be down to try it out with him. your eyes followed his down to the script in your hands.

"ah, this? i've been through this a hundred times. i don't have plans, what's up?" you quickly said, not wanting him to get the wrong idea.

his face lit up almost instantly, and you felt your heart do a few leaps at the small gesture. you smiled as he started rambling excitedly about a cafe that just opened down the street, and asked you if you wanted to go and grab a drink with him. you had seen it on your way to work today and had wanted to try it out sometime, so you agreed.

"sure! i'd love to," you told him.

he heaved a sigh of relief and seemed to relax a little bit. he told you that he had to go back to his dressing room to grab a couple of things and that he would be waiting for you outside the studio. you also had to confirm some things with the director and the producer, so you nodded in agreement. when he left, you smiled widely and felt your shoulders relax.

not everyone gets to try a new cafe with their celebrity crush, you thought to yourself, giggling happily.

once you were sure that you were done for the day, you grabbed your things and left the studio to meet with h/n. he was waiting by the entrance, cap down and hood up as a disguise. when he saw you, a gorgeous smile crept up on his lips as he waved you over. you jogged up to him with a similar expression on your face, and the two of you walked together to the cafe, enjoying the scenic night view of the well-lit city as you walked down the street.
