Chapter 22

*Miyano's POV*

I sought peace as I watched the clouds.

Expectations.

Now that word must've travelled, all those who had survived, would have expectations set for me.

I don't blame them. They needed hope after the terrible fate they faced. All because of me.

Now, they seek what's missing.

A leader.

Me being the sole survivor of my family, doesn't put my task at ease. At the very beginning of this journey I wanted find out about myself, my memories, reasons why my memories were taken, but not even half way in and things have already taken a full 360 turn.

"Deep in thoughts again Princess?" The voiced said,

"Who are you?!" I asked sternly, ready to face whatever it was.

It laughed. Mockingly.

"Well if you must truly know... I am-,"

"MIYAAAAA!" Guy screamed as I was brought back to the physical world.

"What!"

"WHATTTT!" I yelled in frustration, as I sat up.

"I thought you were having a fit!"

I stared at him with an unamused look.

I took a deep breath. He was only concerned. He meant well.

"Why would you think that?!" I said in a much calmer tone.

"Well you were taking deep breaths and kept flinching, so I got worried and since Kakashi isn't here I thought-,"

"Wheres Kakashi?"

I didn't realize I had said that until it was already out.

"He said he wanted to head out, he didn't say where though!" Guy said as he scratched his head.

"Oh, I see!"

"Watch the clouds with me," I said to Guy as I slowly laid down.

"Cloud watching, why?"

"Because, the clouds, to they're peaceful, flowing freely without any burden, calming and so much more... everything that I'm not, so I want to admire them,"

"Miya I-,"

"You don't have to say anything Guy, I just feel like-,"

"You just feel like what?!" Kakashi said as he towered over me.

"K-k Kakashi, I.... Where were you?"

"Worried about me I see!" Kakashi said as he chuckled,

"Of course, Guy is here so where were you?!"

*Kakashi's POV*

She sounded genuinely concerned.

"Miya, I just walked the streets so that I could get a better feel of this place, call it scouting. I needed to at least get a look around. I'm fine, I'm here now!" I reassured her,

She softened her look. Even though she's strong, she always looked to us for reassurance.

"Miya, can I have a word with you?"

Guy shot me a sly look while raising his eyebrows.

"Not like that Guy!!!" I huffed as I moved out of Miya's way.

She looked at me, nodded and stood up.

We walked to back to the house, and sat on the porch.

"Miya, I had to ask you before anything..."
