Louis

I've made a very bold decision: I'm not going to fight Oliver.

I'm going to go in there tonight and let him beat me up. Harry's used to seeing me beat up but he isn't used to seeing Oliver like that. Also, I'd feel kind of weird fighting someone that I actually know.

I've never fought anyone that I actually know. Like at the most I know little things about them but none of them are ever on the level that Oliver is to me. The closest I've gotten is whenever I've punched one of my father's men. I try to learn personal details about them to hold against them.

That sounds kind of evil when I think about it however, when I factor in what they do to me I don't feel as bad.

Okay, my issues aren't important right now, what's important is that I don't let Oliver do something too stupid. If I actually fought him and won they could have two people to make fun of and I don't think he's prepared for that.

I need to talk to him before the fight actually starts. I can't see him until we get in there because I'm being held until they send me in to fight him. It's crazy that it's Oliver that they're going to push in through the other side.

I still can't wrap my head around the fact that he found all of this. Once he gets the anger out of his system I really need an explanation. This isn't a well-known place so it's not like he could have done a little research and then find me out.

"You ready?" My father taunts me, seeming very excited for this. He's never seen Oliver fight before so it's not like he has expectations to hold him to.

Now that I think about it, I've never seen Oliver fight either. There's a chance that he's going to be really good and I'll get my ass kicked within minutes. I mean either way I'm going to end up losing but it may be worse if he's an actually good fighter.

If there ever comes a point where I'll have to fight him again and I actually choose to fight him I don't want to die. Actually, I kind of want him to be really bad now because if that situation happens I'll win.

Instead of responding to my father I move further away from him. I can hear the cheering of the crowd so I know that it's going to start soon. I really hope that this doesn't drag on too long, I just want him to knock me out with one punch.

It's sad that I'm wishing for that l just want things to be easy.

Two big hands grab my shoulders and I get prepared to land on my face. He leads me closer to the actual pit and then picks me up and throws me onto the ground. I skid a little bit on the ground and the crowd laughs at me.

I push myself up and look at Oliver who looks a bit intimidated by everything. I'm not surprised that he's responding like this, he probably didn't know what he was getting himself into and then realized that he was in over his head.

He stands there awkwardly and stares at the ceiling, unaware that he's supposed to start fighting me. I start walking towards him and he freezes a little bit. "Have you told anyone the reason why you're here?" I whisper to him, getting in his face so it looks like I'm about to punch him.

"No, why?" He asks, taking a load off of me. He doesn't know the reason that I'm forced to fight, he just knows that I do. However, that puts him in danger and even though I don't want to protect him, I feel like I need to.

"You obviously don't know so just keep quiet and I'll explain later." I tell him, starting to move us in a circle so it looks like we're getting close to fighting. "Throw a punch."

He throws a punch with his right hand and I catch it with my left hand. I twist his arm behind his back and only hold it down slightly. I'm not trying to hurt him, just scare him a little. I don't think that he actually knows how to fight, I think he just want to prove something to himself.
