Saturday, year: ???

Sun blared into my face as I opened my eyes. The first time I have seen it to day anyway. I cover my blankets around my head not wanting to wake up from this comfortable dream soon realizing that not only I would have to get up and that soon I would have to hear my younger sister Akeers terrible screaming thinking that will wake me up. I plopped my head back into the pillow and smiled remembering my dream, oh how wonderful it was I thought.
"Dark cacao cookie wake up!!" Akeer yelled.
I lifted my head off my pillow and looked around to see Akeers eyes focused on my bookshelf, the pictures of me and her- ahhh that one I thought.  "You always were so cheerful as a baby" I said to her.
" yah" Akeer grumbled.
She held a scrunched up paper in her hand and faced me now I didn't just see her Afro, she smiled lightly. In opinion as my sister Akeer is the most beautiful cookie born in history. Even if she didn't say anything, you could tell her voice was still, harmful, delicate, and most importantly merciful.
" here" Akeer said and handed me the paper with a happy expression torn across her face.
I took the paper and carefully opened it and happiness and excitement filled me fast.
" if got accepted!" I said.
" I got out my bed and hugged Akeer she squeezed me hard and was happy I was happy.
"I'm so happy for you!"Akeer exclaimed.
" you can finally learn how to control it! Then you could master the sword arts!" Akeer finished.
I let go of Akeers grasp and we both sat down on the chair in my room. We both finally calmed down and told our parents on what happened.
Father was over joyed with this success he thinks it would be better for me to go to school now, but mother on the other hand well she didn't really say anything or well I didn't see her that mourning, there was also something really strange me and Akeer noticed. Father was crying— do something happen to mother?
