Chapter 8 • Cacao and White lilies secret • Rose POV

A day after the golden cheese phantom problem.

I couldn't sleep at all last night— still thinking about what had happened only hours ago not forgetting every single last word said.
It replayed on my mind as I swung my clock back and forth while it dangle from its chained. I wanted to go see if cacao was okay; he was holding his stomach an awful lot like he was trying to prevent himself from throwing up, but it is night time and I'd rather not wake anyone up so I tried going to sleep— again.
1:37 am eastern time
I had woken up— again because I felt like it or I just wanted to walk around the castle for that matter anyway.
I got up and moved a part of my plaid shirt that was very big. My black shorts would match perfectly in the shadows otherwise I would have never decided to wear them at all that night knowing something like that was going to happen with golden cheese and dark cacao my friends. I shook my head and whipped my hair out of my face for the billionth time the night.
I walked out of my dorm and started down the beautiful hallway. I heard talking out of one of the balconies...
Suspicious...
I decided to go see what it was— the voices sounded to familiar— cacao and white grandma?! What are they doing here. You know what I shouldn't even be talking.
"Wow I never knew you were that funny" WL.
"Oh thank you *cough* I am just being me you know?" DC.
"Yah" WL.
"You know white lily there was something I wanted to tell the others that I have been keeping for a long time that I haven't really told anyone about" DC.
"Oh what is it" WL.
"When I was younger I had been in a mental asylum before..." DC
"...." WL.
"What..?" WL.
"Yah no one, but golden cheese knows" DC.
"Oh... what did they do to you" WL.
"They said I would used for justice to bring  peace to others that's why they tested me, they chopped off my arm only to test that then attach it back to me— I'm so happy that I wasn't made of nerves. They forced me to do things to say things.... Everything. That's why I don't want anyone to touch me really my" DC
"I— I never knew, I'm very sorry...." WL.
"Can we keep this secret between us I never told golden cheese this part,
Therefore its best to keep it a secret between us" DC.
"Oh course I will— your my friend after all. " WL.
"But you do know that will have to get treatment one day when your older or something really.." WL.
"Thanks lily and I'll take your advice, but only when I am ready to receive treatment I'm not prepared or physically and more mentally unstable right now so yah... but I'll take your word for advice though!" DC.
"Thanks Cacao you should get yourself treatment— maybe after school is over you can get away from your royal duties— take a trip with your family!... maybe" WL.
"Sure, but I am going to the altar of the fallen after school is over..." DC.
"What's that?" WL.
"Oh it's a altar we're you pray to god and the ancestors to guide souls to a safe place during there journey and judgement" DC.
"What do you mean by souls and why do you have to visit there???" WL.
"My mother white lily.." DC.
He looked down he was still holding his stomach. He started coughing again everyone one of them sounded forced and pained— will my friend be okay?
"Oh my?! I'm so sorry for your loss... I should have never brought that up.." WL.
"It's- *cough* fine, all that matters is i still have the rest of my family.. right?" DC.
"Oh it's fine" WL.
White lily hugged him, cacao whimpered then muttered something under his breath.
"I'm sorry I am enjoying this hug, but your breast are pushing up against me" DC. He sounded so nervous saying that boy why is you so cute!!
"Oh sorry let me just—" WL. She started to fix her position and they continued there hug.
"Aww these is why I love you white lily..." DC.
"Wah???!!" WL.
He laughed then said, "in a friend way".
"Oh okay then" WL.
"Oh and I have another secret." DC.
"Oh what is it?" WL.
"Even though we technically just meet it feel a strange connection between pure vanilla cookie and I ever time I look at them I can't help, but smile and then I turn red— what do that feeling" DC.
"Well my friend it looks like you have a crush.. your in love" WL.
"And don't worry I won't tell anyone you love them— and that's a promise and if I were to ever tell anyone I'd pay over a billion coins" WL.
"Thanks white lily" DC.
"I think we should start to go now— what about you?" WL.
"Yah—*cough* I think I might throw up" DC.
Oh no now there leaving.. what am I gonna do!! I could just run and pretend like nothing happened, but my body didn't want to move. Next thing I knew we were all looking at each other eye to eye when cacao finally realized why I had done so, I heard everything.
His face got as red as a tomato and he was still holding his stomach.
"You heard didn't you." White lily
"Yuh— but I won't tell anyone!" I said.
"Okay, but just in case promise?" Cacao said.
"Promise" me and white lily said.
"My gosh now both of you know, but hey at least it wasn't any of my enemies..." Cacao said sighing relief.
"Enemies??" I muttered.
"Yah I know but it's typically not surprising if you think about it" Cacao hearing what I had. Which surprised me because we weren't even that close to each other.
"We should really get going, but I feel like other people were awake not just people, but what if vanilla and cheese heard.... It's probably just a coincidence..

I guess this was their secret, why would Cacao and white lily keep a secret just between them???
