Bring • Bring!

The noise woke me up immediately I wasn't really expecting this to happen, but this time when I woke up I felt so happy finally the happiness I have been waiting for.
I got out of bed got ready and put my hair in a bun- not messy, but something formal at least. Akeer got me at least over 31 pairs of school uniform so I wouldn't get dress coded.
I heard a small knock at the door.
" Can I come in?" A voice said.
" Yep just doing my hair" I replied.
" here you go" it was Akeer she put my uniform on the bed.
" just thought you need this" Akeer said. She yawned it sounded like a beautiful harmony saying it's prayers.
" thank you Akeer" I answered her.
She nodded and left the room leaving me to change.
I did so and changed into my school uniform. I ran down the stairs and encountered my father- his head had fallen into his sketch book, maybe drawing plans or something. I didn't mind at first, but then it started nagging on me, what was father drawing?
I moved closer to fathers chair when father clenched is fist preparing to punch me just in case I came to close.
"It's just me dad" I said.
He looked up his eyes weary like he didn't sleep or almost like he was crying. Akeer ran down the stairs with her mourning kimono on.
" good mourning daddy!" She hugged father.
Father only smiled for a moment to then it quickly faded away. I peered over fathers shoulder he was reading the local book•ins. I came closer and looked at the news "hopefully something good happened" I thought.
"Worldly mourning for the empresses of the dark kin...." I whispered.
I stared into space after I read the rest- this couldn't be happening mother- momma, I thought.
" what?" Akeer said.
"Akeer, mommas..." I said.
"DEAD" I finished.
After I had said that Akeers eyes stayed on mine like I was lying her eyes begun to get glossy. She grabbed me and started crying- sobbing actually like she just lost faith in everything or the world and everyone turned there back on her.
Father didn't say anything, he wanted to say something and was going to speak, but I know how dark it would be.
I stopped him just in time.
" I must go now-" I said.
Akeer let go of me and simply stared then she smiled.
" you must go- I love you and stay safe may god be with you" she said with a nod.
Father on the other hand didn't move an inch. Akeer even looked like a lilac flying in the wind when she cried other words gracefully. Akeer wiped her tears and smiled.
"Don't let me get you down brother go and master yourself, hopefully you'll make new friends or see the old." Akeer said.
I smiled and opened the citadels doors silently and closed it like it was a fragile glass.

Will today be a good day?
