Chapter 9 • a new cookie?! • hollyberry POV •

~In the morning~

What a beautiful day outside, the sun is shining some of the students already started the training and finished changing— hopefully today would be different from yesterday.
I got up and changed looking at all the photos on the wall from when we were 10 me, cheese, and cacao— awww the memories I though to my•self. As soon as I finished I walked out the door full of pride and happiness.
Today will be a good day.. I thought.
"Hollyberry cookie please come to the headmasters office, Hollyberry cookie please come to the headmasters office— thank you" the loud speaker announced.
Oh great a good day.
I shrugged down to the headmasters office— why.
I open the door when a I see a boy with a multi•colored satchel on. His bangs were long pulled back into a braid the rest is out and long like cacaos hair, it was the color of a dark space purple— he looked like millennial tree cookies brother, but— hmmm how should I put it... hotter? Yah hotter.
The headmaster smiled and said, "Hollyberry meet lunar cream cookie, he is a new student here and seeing you being a very enthusiastic and welcoming cookie— I'd love for you to show him around.." Ms. Fortune said.
He waved over to me then smiled.
"Pleased to meet you." He says.
Yup definitely hotter.
"Sure can do, now my friend let us go you don't want to miss out on any of the class activities do you??" I asked.
He shook his head then said, "of course not let us go" he said.
"I have a couple of friends in the classes so we can go to those first" I said.
We started down the hallway looking at the stained glass and the paintings on the wall beautifully painted by a very famous cookie from 2 a b.c.
"Here's the first class mediation" I said.
"This class is really great for past trauma and uncontrollable powers, my friend cacao is in here for both" I replied.
Lunar cream cookie watched amazed as a dragon surrounded my friend no wings— a Japanese water dragon.
Cacao couldn't stay focused and the dragon became weary and disappeared. He turned to us and waved so did some of the other students we had seen. We waved back then went down the hall again.
We finally got to one of the courtyards which was actually one of the classrooms.
"Here's another class; planting a flora and fauna magic." I said.
We watched as white lily spun around throwing seeds playfully flowers blooming as they landed. Millennial tree cookie was throwing seeds to some of the birds and started to plant a agora lilac flower(not an actual flower). They looked up and smiled. White lily stopped throwing the seeds and smiled and then waved. We waved back and continued the tour.
"Next is dance it shows off culture and most importantly power you possess" I explained.
Lunar cream cookie nodded fascinated.
Egyptian music played as we watched as golden cheese danced a dance from Egypt.
After she finished everyone clapped even we did. She smiled and turned over to us.
"YOU DID IT BESTIE" I yelled.
"I get it I deserve the praise." She replied.
She looked over to Lunar cream cookie and put her hands on her hips with her smuggest face. She lifted her eyebrows two times.
Honestly I couldn't help, but admire her curves— she was amazingly baked. I would want to be her in my honest opinion. Lunar cream cookie didn't say anything, but bro you could tell he was falling for the shortest cookie on earth. He just couldn't stop smiling that's all. She took one of her hands off her hips and waved to us and turned back to her dance teacher.
We left down the hall and I forgot to ask him this question.
"If you don't mind me asking, but how old are you??" I asked him.
"Oh I am 15 why do you ask" he answered.
"Oh well because my friend there was like 14 I think you could probably" I raised my eye brows like cheese had done.
His cheeks turned a light red and we continued to walk. Next was the healing and spell casting class which was most popular.
Vanilla was practicing their spell on levitation he stopped them a took a break then they started to heal the a scratch on their arm.
"Hello pure vanilla cookie 👋" I said cheerfully.
"Oh hello Hollyberry cookie how are you friend??" They said in their warm, soft voice as usual.
"Nothing really," I implied.
"Just showing a new student around, oh and you did a great job with the levitation spell" I finished.
"Oh really?? Thank you, but you must be going now— good bye!" They waved to me.
*Good bye friend* I whispered.
I shook out of my trance and led them down the hall— cafeteria, cafe, dorms, other classes, bathroom, agora, courtyards, and more or should I say something a normal school wouldn't have.
After I finished the tour I told him about school rules, dress code, and most importantly classes.
"You can pick your classes" I spoke.
"Sooooo... what's the catch?" He asked.
"Choose them wisely you don't know what mess you could get into—" I finished.
He looked worried for a second, but went back to his normal face forgetting everything.
"Oh because it's your first day and I don't want to be lonely— do you want to eat lunch with me and my friends??" I basically begged.
"Hmmm well I don't know?? But if you're asking then why not?" He answered.
"Yesss!!! See you at hmm 21:35?" I checked my watch.
(That is a real time it is between the middle of the day by the way if you don't know~).
I brought him back to the headmasters office figuring that she would explain more to him than I did and indeed she did.
"I appreciate you doing this Holly" she said in a weary speechless voice.
She yawned then turned to lunar cream cookie and asked, "she told you how to sign up for classes?"
"Oh she told me she doesn't know" lunar cream cookie responded.
I was shocked how did he know that I didn't know??? I never even told him or asked.. wait! Are him and cacao related— there both kinda creepy, cacaos emo creepy and he's just normal creepy even though I know it is not normal
"Thank you Holly for your time you may leave now" Ms. fortune said.
I walk out of the office and thank them for there time and started heading down to my class room. It was already 11:30 so I had to go to strength class.
I went in and started wrapping the bandages around my hand.
When I wrapped them around my hand it reminded of Lunar cream cookie's hands— they had embers implanted on the top of his hand both were a dark purple with small splotches of white, the embers were formed like stars with eight sides— quite rare of you ask me..
You know what I'll ask him at lunch and hopefully he'll respond.
Mean while cacao was getting lectured by the teacher for turning someone's arm into crumbs.
My friend was very strong anyway so I could see that happening, but it would eventually become a problem because then he would have to get a referral and he wouldn't be able to come back to this class.
But~ never mind that I'm so happy that I'm making a new friend!
