Corpse was on the verge of screaming as he so often did in the lone of his apartment.
Everybody who knew sympathized with the pain his fibromyalgia induced, but not anyone could understand just how frustrating it got.
More often than not, he'd let a few hot tears slip out of pure white anger and the small few people who'd seen it thought it to be out of pain.
The pain never ended — he'd come to terms with that. But it was the inconsistency of when it flared or how intensely it flared that led to an even further inconsistent annoyance.
On top of that, he had to anxiety attacks and a busted eye to deal with.
Corpse was just over it all. He was over himself.
And just his luck, he was still physiotherapist-less.
He sat into his comfortable gaming chair; though right now it felt like a bed of nails. Nonetheless, he had to silently bear it. He couldn't afford to miss another stream because of his health or else he wouldn't have the money to treat his health; A never-ending and frankly, pointless cycle.
Sometimes he wondered if ending things would grant him the peace he was starving for — the peace not even silence rewarded.
For with the way he was living now, he was basically dead. The single username staring back at him in capital letters suited his state better than any medication he'd ever taken.
He stared back and wondered where he'd be without it. He was CORPSE online — a personality people wanted to watch. But that was it.
Reality was a cold slap to the face. In the real world, he was just another overlooked man on the street. And although that's the way he forced it; the way he liked it; it didn't help cease the thought that no one in actual life would really care if he was gone.
His phone suddenly chimed.
Sweetheart: I'm alright now thanks :)
Sweetheart: Karl wanted to let you know his system's frozen so we'll start once he's fixed it.He didn't think much of it until a weird feeling gnawed at his core.

When her speech bubble stuttered up and down, he quickly typed:

But Corpse had already locked his phone thinking he'd said more than he should've.
Three hours later, Corpse was still playing Raft with Tina, Foosh and Miyoung. Although it was Karl's stream, he was one of the few to leave early, including Sage.
He wasn't sure why his mind had singled her out but that could have something to do with the song he'd been humming for a while.
"I, too, am a victim of an e-girls are ruining my life addiction," said Tina to which he laughed.
Except he'd been humming it a little different.
