Permanent Scar, 2023
I kept your sweater---
though, I know it's over.
Doubtless, you're doing better.
Yet, I'm here, stuck in the chapters;
still haunted by the way you kissed her.You ruined the three of us;
a precious life turned into ash.
I loathe that I watched a part of me die.
I was loath to admit that I cried,
when you said your love had expired.
You were all I ever needed,
but all you did was to make me bleed.How could you burn my last pages,
when every word of it was written all for you?
How could you do this?
Locking me after you threw the keys away,
and then blame me if we didn't meet halfway?
Babe, you promised to give me a thousand stars,
yet, all you have left in me is a permanent scar.
