When the Pain Lost, 2022
“I guess this is goodbye.” I said,
staring at the purple pink sky reflecting in your eyes.
With words hanging in the air,
I realized that they are a little more painful
when they're little too late to be uttered. It's a choice, not to fight.
Making decisions that
we both know that's right.
Meeting you was my favorite accident,
but time doesn't want the alignment.
And maybe the biggest conflict of it
was that we met---
in the wrong timeline.
Seas slowly forming in the borderline. We ended without even beginning,
the track not taken feels so beguiling.
And the path where we were, is dangerous,
and our walk was aimless.
These times are perilous,
but I hope to see you at the end
of the aisle when the pain lost.
