Stella is now 7 months pregnant and the gender reveal was in a week and the only person who knew the gender was Boden because both kelly and Stella wanted it to be a surprise. They have bought a crib and other furniture but no clothes and bed linens because they wanted to wait till they found out the gender. They were going to do the gender reveal at the firehouse. *one week later*. As the firehouse was setting up for the baby shower violet and Sylvie were helping Stella get ready while the men got the firehouse ready. As Stella walked out everyone in the firehouse got teary-eyed. Boden came up to kelly and Stella and gave them each a smoke bomb. Everyone counted down from 3 and kelly and Stella activated the smoke bombs and they found out they were having a girl everyone was over the moon especially kelly because he had a chance to name his daughter shay after his best friend who he lost 9 years ago to arson and since the case was never given justice for because the court didn't wanna take it on as an arson case. Kelly was so upset that shay couldn't meet Stella or their daughter but he knew that shay was looking down on him and how far he had come since he spiraled when she passed away and also due to the fact that he couldn't get justice for her. After both kelly and Stella got home from work they talked about baby names. Kelly said to Stella can we please name our daughter shay after my best friend Leslie shay who I lost 9 years ago. Stella was definitely okay with naming their daughter shay and then asked Kelly if he wanted to use Shay's middle name as well for there daughter. Kelly was so happy because he finally got to remember his best friend with the woman he loves. Later that night kelly got on a facetime call with the whole firehouse and told them the name and they all teared up and were so happy.
