24 Hours

It has been about 4 weeks since Stella has been back at 51 and she is happier than ever she's married and has a daughter with the man of her dream job and she has her dream job. Today 51 one was out of service so they can clean and reorganize the rigs and so ambo can see if there is any expired medical supplies that they needed to throw away. The reason why the firehouse had to do this is to make sure that they had all their supplies and to make sure that nothing was damaged and if it was they could replace it so they were safe on calls. Stella was doing amazing at being a lieutenant and kelly could not be more proud of her. Today 51 was working a 24-hour shift because they were going to an expo so they were going to miss 2 shifts so they are doing a 24-hour shift to make up for it. This was Stella's first 24-hour shift in a while so she was a bit nervous but also excited because at night she was able to talk to brett and violet-like they were at summer camp talking when they weren't supposed to be up. Throughout the day they got lots of calls. Around 6:15 pm they came back from a motor vehicle accident and needed to cook dinner. Stella and kelly decided to cook dinner as a married couple for the first time and while they were cooking violet took care of their daughter. The night was kind of slow the only people who had a call were 51 and ambo 61. The morning came and Stella and Kelly went home with their daughter and put her in her crib and they passed out in bed. Stella woke up in the middle of the night to get some water but sat down for ten minutes to think of how she was going to juggle work and motherhood and if she needed to get a baby sitter
