The medics shocked Stella and had no pulse and then they did it a second time and got a pulse and once they did they put her on a stretcher and wheeled her to the ambo. Gabby was going to take care of shay because kelly couldn't come home he wanted to go straight to the hospital. The medics rushed into the er "33-year-old female cardiac arrest passed out before we got on scene friend said that Stella had trouble breathing". Maggie paged Dr.Rhodes and he came down and did a chest Xray and found out her lung was collapsed. Just as he was doing the procedure kelly ran in and asked what happened the nurses escorted him out of the room. One dr.Rhodes was done he came out and told kelly it was most likely because of what happened 3 and half years ago in the apartment blaze and how they had to remove a portion of her lung. how being pregnant and giving birth put a lot of strain on her lungs and body so the lung that they did the surgery on collapsed. Dr.Rhodes wanted to keep Stella there for a couple of days to monitor her and make sure that her lungs were functioning properly. Kelly had informed the whole firehouse what had happened and they all came in to check on Stella. Kelly had to go back to work so gabby stayed with Stella. As the weeks passed Stella was completely healed. She had to go back to the hospital for a check-up to make sure everything was okay and she had healed properly. A week later she went to her appointment and the doctors said everything was clear. About 3 months have passed and baby shay is 3 months old and is getting so big she has blue eyes like sevride and starting to develop black hair like Stella and has light freckles over her nose. Herrmann and Cindy had been over a bunch and so has other people in the firehouse. Cruz also had come to a bunch of times even tho he was retired from the CFD he still kept in touch with the people from the firehouse and went to visit them when he could. Stella was allowed to return back to work next week and they would bring the baby to the firehouse and kylie would help look after shay while they went on calls. *on a week later* as Stella walked back into the firehouse everyone was so happy to see her and her men from 81 said nice to have you back Kidd and the day went on as normal calls,mouch sitting in his spot and dinner at the firehouse
