I felt my shoulder being shook and cracked an eye open. "Luca come on its morning."
"Time?" I questioned rolling my eyes sitting up.
"Half seven." Draco smiled.
"Come on lets make some coffee or tea for you and go wake dad." I smiled and threw on a dressing gown passing draco his. I made a black coffee, vanilla latte and sweet tea before going to wake dad.
"Dad? We made you coffee?" I said stepping into his room seeing him already awake.
"Merry Yule, go into the kitchen I'll come and join you in a minute let me get dressed." I smiled and replied.
"Merry yule" and went and joined Draco.
After a quick breakfast we trooped into the living room to open presents. "Hey what's this?" I asked picking up a bright blue package that stood out from all the others.
"It arrived last night Luca its addressed to you." Dad said. "To me?" I was confused. "Well open it then."
Draco said sitting next to me.
I nodded and prised of the soft wrapping paper and opened the velvet box picking up the note inside. And what was laying under the note took my breath away.
"Oh Luca its amazing." Draco said eyes wide.
Inside was a necklace a ying and yang charm made of what seemed to be sapphire and diamond. I looked at the note.

We hope you like this it took us a while to figure out the perfect transfiguration to permantly make you this necklace. We studied courting rituals and both agreed we wished to give you this as a courting gift aswell as for christmas. Think about your choice and if you want to be with us wear this on the first day back to school we'll be watching.

I was slack jawed and wide eyed.
"Its a courting gift." I said softly. I was shaken out of my stupor when Draco let out a "What!" and plucked the note out of my hands.
"Aren't you a little young to be courted?"
I shook my head. "Most pureblood courting rituals start when the intendeds are children you know that draco, plus it helps that im rather fond of the twins."
I looked at my father who had been quiet until now and realised he was smirking.
"You knew?!" I accused. He chuckled.
"Of course I knew its tradition to ask permission of the father, they seem to want to do everything correctly. They have my blessing unless they hurt you! Then I will poison them with no regrets."
"And I will hex them until I'm satisfied." Draco chimed in passing me the note back. I sighed what did I do and who did I annoy in a past life to get and overprotective father and twin.
We continued opening presents Pheonix, katie and luna had sent us some stuff as we had aswell. Draco and dad passed me a package together. "Our presents kind of go together." Draco said at my raised eyebrow. I smiled and opened Draco first revealing a sort of belt with holders all over it. "What is it?" I questioned confused.
"Its a bandolier its an alchemist belt for potions here you wear it like this." He eased it over my head so it sat slung over one shoulder.

I smiled "Its awesome thanks Draco." And I gave him a hug. I opened dads next and it was a pack of unbreakable crystal vials that I had been eyeing in the local apothecary for months. "Dad?" I said shocked they were very expensive especially as they were made of rune crystal, which is a type of crystal that you can carve certain runes into whereas most crystals are too delicate.
"I saw you eyeing them up and you needed something to go in your bandolier." He smirked and gave me a hug.
