Chapter 13

"Oh animal bones lovely." I heard Draco say wrinkling his nose at the bones scattered everywhere.

"Be thankful they aren't human. Come on then onwards I suppose." I replied dragging lockhart as he was acting like a toddler and refusing to walk. "Oh honestly." I pointed my wand at him again. "If you do not walk like a normal adult I will float you and purposely hit you off every damn surface of this place extra hard is that what you want?!" I yelled at the waste of magic. He shook his head looking scared and immediately started walking on his own.

I should have watched him more carefully because as I edged up to Harry to check on him, I heard a shout and Lockhart had Rons broken wand in hand. Apparently my binding spell had broken or faded because the ropes where also gone. "Now I have the upper hand don't worry I will make sure everyone knows what happened how we were too late to save the girl and how you four tragically lost your minds from the sight of her mangled body." He declared triumphantly .

"And how do you plan on doing that after all we'll tell everyone the truth." Harry countered. "Now see there is one spell I am particularly skiled at obliviate. How else do you think I coud claim to do all those max=zing things without the wizards who actually did it telling everyone." He smirked. "Now say goodbye to your memories." He turned the wand to where me and Harry.

"Obliviate." BANG! The spell backfired and caused an avalanche of rocks to drop between us seperating me and Harry from the others. "Draco!" I called.

"Luca! Are you okay? Is Harry okay?" He sounded almost frantic.

"Im okay Dragon and Harrys fine except his glasses are broken once again." I sighed handing them to Harry who finally learnt the spell to fix them.

"Are you alright?"

"I'm fine and so is Ron but I don't know about lockhart." He said and I heard a slap that I assume was Draco or Ron giving him a slap.

"Hello who are you , who am I and where am I."

"Oh no Lockharts gone and wiped his own memory." I snorted. "Serves him right."

"Okay we need to continue and we cant wait ages for the rocks to move. Me and Luca will continue. You guys try and move some rocks so we can fit through. Okay Luca." I nodded mentally going through all the curses I could use if worse came to worse.

"Luca." I heard Draco call as Ron called Harry.

"Stay safe."

"Always."

Harry and I made our way to and ornate door with snakes on it Harry once again opened it with parsel and we ran in seeing a girl with red hair who I reconised instantly from seeing her around school.

"Ginny! Wake up pleae don't be dead. Wake up" Harry yelled running to her and dropping his wand something I didn't realise until I saw a presence beside me pick it up.

"She wont wake." The figure siad ominously I turned seeing a slytherin boy I didn't reconside though harry evedantly did. The boy had wavy chocolate brown hair and cerulian blue eyes. He had smile on his face but it wasn't kind or sympathetic no it was cruel, a chilling smile something I was sure I'd see haunting my nightmares.

"My wand, Tom give me my wand." Harry said holding out his hand

"You wont be needing it." He replied a serene smile that would have been sweet if he wasn't acting so ominous. "Tom theres a basalisk you don't under-"

"It wont come unless it called." He then turned to the statue of salazar slytherin a series of hisses coming out of his mouth I derected my eyes away from the beast that appeared wand still in hand but almost frozen in terror.

"Luca stay with Ginny." Harry said as I knelt down to her prone form. "As poor ginny grows weaker I grow stronger." Tom commented. "How Tom how did you do it."

"She gave her soul to me told me everything all her worries and hopes. I wrote back I was sympathetic it very tiresome listening to the rambling of an 11 year old girl. But then you wrote to me oh you were more interesting rather niave though."

"IM NOT NIAVE." Harry spat.

"I'd heard about you from darling ginervra of course the saviour of the wizarding world. It makes me wonder how could an infant with no extrodinary magical power defeat the greatest wizard to have ever lived." I glared.

"I sure hope you arent talkin about Voldermort." Harry said ignoreing my slight flinch at the name. "Anyway why do you care voldemort was after your time."

"Voldemort is my Past, present and future." (A/N; just Tom casually fanboying about the name he made for himself.)

And he waved Harrys wand as he wrote his full name 'Tom Marvolo Riddle' which rearranged itself to spell 'I Am Lord Voldemort.' "NO!" I yelled wanting to get far away from the man who almost ruined my dads life.

"Keep quiet you stupid child and I might let you live after all you are a Slytherin."

"Id rather die." I growled at him.

"So be it you both shall." Hissing once more the snake tried to get to us when. FWOOM! In a burst of fire Dumbledores phoenix, Fawkes appeared out of nowhere holding the sorting hat in his beak.

"So this is what Dumbledore sends his little saviour a tatty old hat and a stupid songbird."

At Toms mocking Fawkes flew to the basalisk and started pecking it eyes out meaning its gaze was no longer deadly or existent.

"No! Your bird may have blinded the basalisk but it can still hear you." As Harry ran off I kept busy making sure Ginny was still breathing this would all be for nothing if she died. While Tom was still directing the basalisk my eyes fell to the book ,the diary he said it was important. So while Tom wasn't looking I plucked it up from beside Ginny and placed in inside my robe just In case. Harry came back seemingly lost the basalisk at least for now and ran to the sorting hat pulling out a fricken sword. It was encrusted with rubies and I caught sight of the inscription, the sword of griffindor I thought that was a myth.

Harry began climbing the statue I gave him a quick leg up knowing that time was running out fast. Just as he was halfway to the top the basalisk rose out of the water with an almighty screech it was trying eat Harry sensing he was on the statue , but luckily harry was dodging causing the snake to get disorientated from banging it head continuously.

Finally harry was standing on the head of the statue brandishing his sword. I held my breath hoping this would go alright. The snake didn't seen to want to go down without a fight it managed to keep dodging so I threw a low power cutting curse at the back of its head and as it screamed harry thrust the sword into the roof of its mouth and through its head killing it.

I ran over to Harry as he jumped down seeing a fang lodged in his arm. "Harry!" I gasped. "The basalisk may be destroyed but youll be dead in minutes." Tom crowed victoriously. "The book stab it." Harry whispered to me urgantly pulling the fang out of his wound. "Use this."

I nodded and pulled the book out of my robes and raising the fang. "What are you ding no stop that."

I drove the fange into the cover and opened the book to the middle stabbing through it. There was a flash of white light and he was gone. "Harry you arent aloud to die I forbid it. Oh if only Draco was here."

Harry looked at me confused even while on the brink of death. "The pheonix tears you gave him they have healing powers they can stop death." As I mentioned pheonixes ,Fawkes came flying over. "FAWKES." I gasped realising what was about to happen and as the tears hit Harrys arm the wound sealed as if it was never there.

"How do you feel." I asked.

"Like im not dying anymore." He replied and we moved over to Ginny. "Shes still breathing oh thank merlin." We woke her up and she told us everything. We managed to get back to the others and Draco threw his arms round me and Ginny and Ron embraced. "Thank you for saving her Harry." Ron thanked as Draco. "And thank you for making sure luca was alright I would of destroyed the world if anything had happened to them."

"Love you too" I replied to Dracos weird way of saying he was worried. And finally we left that awful place.
