(for some reason, I decided to make a bonus chapter for DDLL. feel free to check that out. i guess.)

Sayori POV

I lift my body from my bed and toss it to the side. My parents already left, probably to avoid the trash that I am. After I threw on my uniform, I decided it wasn't worth the energy to make myself any food. It wasn't worth the energy to even get up from bed.

I trudged out the door and over to the direction of the school. Maybe I should just keep walking. Nobody would miss me anyway...

Suddenly, I felt something wrap around me.

"Shhh, Sayo, it's okay, there's nothing wrong..." I forced my body to turn around, and see Monika with a concerned look. You are wasting your concern, Monika.

"What are you on about, Moni? I'm fine, see?" I put on a fake smile, which Monika glanced at, and then placed my head onto her shoulder.

"Of course you are 'fine', Sayo. You are perfect just the way you are. Everyone loves you, Sayo. Please understand that."

...

... I hug back on Monika's grasp.

"Y-you... Make no sense, Moni. I'm not perfect... I've already lost friends with my faults... only a matter of time until I lose you..." Monikas grip got really tight.

"Sayo, I know who you are talking about. Don't think of him, okay? I have no explanation for why he would leave you, but just know that he was foolish for abandoning you. I will never leave you, Sayo. I will tell you that as many times as you need." When I peeked back, I noticed that Monika seemed to grow a bit cold when mentioning MC. Why does she hate him so much? Well, whatever the reason, I do feel better with her reassurance. We just continue holding each other until Monika pats my back.

"Hey, let's go to school now." Monika grabs my hand, "And, if you don't mind, maybe we can start walking to school together?" I collapsed onto her shoulder.

"I guess... if you don't mind."

We started walking to the school, hand in hand. It was calming, as calming as it is when we leave school like this. I wonder why Monika is so willing to spend time with me. She's... so lovely. I leaned into her deeper to hide my blush, which Monika seemed to take for me needing comfort, so she rested her head on mine.

Maybe too soon, we arrived at the school, so I had to unlatch from Monika.

"Thank you for the walk, Moni."

"No problem, Sayo!"

Timeskip

No POV

Club time was pretty average. Natsuki and Yuri walked in hand in hand, snuggling up while reading Portrait of Markov (Yuri was reading it really quietly so only Natsuki could hear it easily), Monika sat back, writing what was probably another poem, and Sayori was looking around, not focusing on anything.

Ayana was mindlessly reading the book related to her Literature class, when she glanced up, she noticed the new girl, Eliza, looking at her.

"Excuse me... could you come over here?"

Ayana shrugged and placed her book down on a desk and strode over, eventually leaning her arm on Eliza's shoulder.

"What'cha need?"

"...well... I just want to know... a bit more of this place...?" Eliza was struggling slightly to not take note of the arm on her shoulder, though having to look at Aya's scarlet eyes didn't help.
