Sayori POV
Well, with the Literature Club being cancelled, I guess I just have to go home, huh?
... But, I wish I could spend time with Moni more... but that's just me being selfish, isn't it? No, she's probably busy with someone else now, and you are getting in her way from enjoying herself. Now, just leave before you worsen someone else's day... wait is that music? I try to shake off the true thoughts and look for the source of the music. Eventually, I made it to a door which was pretty close to the club room. I put my ear up to it.
"...I see the crystal raindrops fall, and the beauty of it all when the sun comes shining through~." It's Monika's voice. She seems to be playing a song. I gently open the door. She doesn't seem to notice me.
"To make the rainbows in my mind, when I think of you some times, I wanna spend some time with you~."
"Just the two of us! We can make it if we try, Just the two of us~." She hums the chorus part. "Just the two of us! Building castles in the sky, just the two of us, You and I." She does a little extra jingle at the end to make it sound a bit better than an abrupt cut-off.
"...Alright, and now with a warm-up out of the way I can-" She turns to take something from her bag, but freezes upon seeing me."O-OH! Sayo, you're here?"
"Wow, Moni! That was great! How haven't you told me how good you are at this?" I bounced in place. Monika looked a little flustered.
"O-oh, you think it's good? Well, I've only started practicing recently... Glad you like it!" Monika stood from the piano, taking the sheet she had off of it and into her bag. "Now, why did you come here?"
"I was just wandering and heard the piano, is all, but I'd love to hear you play a song!" I cheered, but Monika held her hands up.
"Sorry, Sayo, but I still haven't even finished a song yet..." Monika looks at me, leans down, and smiles, "but I feel like you'll hear one some day."
...er, what does that mean? I try to push a bit more, but Monika isn't budging.
"Ugh, okay fine, but, can we at least walk out of this school now?" I say. Monika blinked.
"Oh, right, I almost forgot! Let's go, Sayo!" Monika said, grabbing my arm and taking me out of the room.
Eventually we slow down, and I wrap myself around Monika's arm. Hmm, the smell of coffee is oddly calming, considering that it's supposed to wake you up...
"So, that's why I wanted to get into playing an instrument!" Ah! She was talking! I got so absorbed in her scent that I didn't even realize that! And saying that just makes it sound weird.
"That's nice, Monika!"
"Anyways, do you want to do something, Sayori?"
"Hmm... I was thinking of doing some clothes shopping."
"... I meant like something as a potential career or hobby." I'd probably have picked up on that if I listened...
"Well, you didn't really tell me that with your initial message, but I guess I can draw pretty good."
"That's great, Sayo!" Monika said, but soon pauses. "Er, wait, you buy your own clothes?"
"Uh, yeah, do you not?"
"... No. My parents usually buy them."
"Wah? Well that's no good! C'mon, let's get you some clothes that YOU want!" I move my hand to grab hers and start dragging her away from our normal path.
"W-wait, Sayo..!"
Timeskip
"Are you sure you want to do this now?" Monika asked me, still a little confused.
