That night Tatum and I decided to stay at Sidney's. Her dad had called and said his work trip would be extend until next weekend. Tatum had picked me up on the way to Sidney's and when we got there we just walked in but didn't get an answer when he called out for her. When we walked into the kitchen Sidney was leaning on the counter shaking. "Hey what's wrong?" Tatum asked. "The killer just called me," Sidney said.

"What? What did he say?" I asked. "He asked if I liked scary movies and said he was watching me so I went outside but no one was there. When I went to hang up he said he would--" she didn't finish and I didn't need to finish. "He said he killed my mother. But that can't be Cotton Weary is in jail."

After that I called Billy and he came to pick us up. Sidney decided to just stay with Tatum. She felt safer with Dewey being there. And I went home with Billy. "What happened?" He asked. "The killer called her but he didn't attack her or any of us," I told him. "It was probably someone just fucking with you guys." That's all he said as we walked into the house.

It was Sunday night which meant it was movie night. Earlier this morning dad was watching the news. The face that came on the screen had me spitting water all over the kitchen counter. It was the douchebag from the mall. He had been murdered last night the same way Casey, Steve, and Nate were. He was stabbed and gutted and hung in a tree. I had looked over at Billy who just casually leaned against the counter. At least it wasn't another guy on the football team. And even though he was an asshole he didn't deserve to die like that.

It was a little strange how Billy hasn't had any real reaction to any of these killings. He only reacted when I was attacked at Casey's. And he's been acting a lot more sketchy than he normally does. Him and Stu always give each other weird looks. But I had pushed it out of my mind and thought of nothing but movie night.

Billy and Stu were over at Tatum's trying to convince them to join us. Well, they were trying to convince Sid more than Tatum. Then they were to go to the store and get snacks. My job was to go to the video store and grab a bunch of movies and invite Randy. Usually it was just Billy, Stu and I but we thought we should invite the other just because of what has been going on. Especially since Sid got a call from the killer yesterday night.

I walked into the store and went straight to the horror section. I grabbed the classics like Halloween, Friday the 13th, Nightmare on Elm Street. But I also grabbed Prom Night, Terror Train, Chainsaw, The Exorist. Usually we went all out and ended up being up all night. Me and Billy would also normally just stay at Stu's on these kinds of nights. During the summer every night was movie night.

I jumped with my arms wrapped around my waist. "And why are you getting so many movies?" I rolled my eyes and turned around. My arms were full of movies. "Well, Randy, it's Sunday which means movie nights. And you've been invited to come if you're not busy after work," I said. He took the movies from my arms and set them on the empty cart he had behind him. "I'm never busy after work. And I'd love to come. But if I'm coming we're adding some new movies to the mix," he said. "That's fine. What time do you get off?" I asked. He looked at the clock on the wall behind the counter. "In an hour," he said.

"Well, it's going to be at Stu's and we will most likely be staying there for the night and going to school together," I told him. He nodded his head as he racked his eyes over my body. "What? What are you looking at me like that?" I asked. "We had this discussion before about your outfits," he said. "Excuse me?" I raised my eyebrows and set my hands on my hips. "I'm not telling you what you can and can't wear. I just don't want other guys looking at what's mine," he said..his hands went to my waist and pulled me towards him. My breath hitched and I felt my face get hot.

"Really. And who said I was yours? Because I don't remember agreeing to that," I said, playing with the collar of the shirt he wore over his work shirt. "I told you the night of Stu's party. Don't act like you don't know what I'm talking about. You weren't even drunk. You had a buzz but you weren't drunk. I'm serious about liking you. My crush for Sid is long gone," he said, tucking a loose strand of hair behind my ear.

Who the fuck was this? The Randy I knew wasn't so up front with feelings. Sure he flirted with girls and he had flirted with Sid but he wasn't the kind of guy to say ''you're mine'' he was the popular geek who got way too hype when talking about movies, especially horror movies. His hands went to my hips pulling me closer to him. "I can prove it if you want. That skirt is just asking to be pushed up," he whispered in my ear. I pushed him a little at how bold he was. "Oh, my god, Randy. What the hell happened to you? I think you've been hanging out with Stu a little too much," I laughed. "Or you bring it out of me."

"Come on, let's get those other movies. You can use my employee discount," he said. "Ooh. Well, don't I feel special," I said. He kissed my cheek and I looked down biting my lip. "I told you before not to do that," he groaned. I smiled innocently, "I don't know what you mean," I said and walked away. "Right. You don't even know what movies I'm talking about," he said, rushing after me. "I'm sure it's more horror."

After he grabbed the new movies he was talking about he checked me out. "I'll see you in a little," he said, walking around the counter to me. "Okay. Remember to bring everything with you for tomorrow. We go for breakfast before school starts," I told him. "I'll run straight home after work and grab everything and then head straight to Stu's," he said. I bite my lips again and then rolled my eyes, "fuck it." I wrapped my arms around his shoulders and lightly kissed his lips. I felt ridiculous for feeling insecure yesterday.

I was about to pull back thinking I just fucked up but to my surprise his arms wrapped around my waist as he seeped the kiss. Butterflies erupted in my stomach when pulled away leaving me breathless. "I'll see you soon," he said. He kissed my forehead before walking off to the back of the room.  I left feeling dizzy and in complete bliss that I didn't even notice the figure that had been watching us from across the store the whole time I was there.
