Ashley's POV:
It's a Saturday, and that means the basketball games. I was curled up next to Kendrick, well, I was. He is now shuffling around his room, making every step as quiet as he could.
But all in vain. I rolled over and looked at him, he was pulling on his jersey, which made me blush realizing he was probably getting dressed thinking I was a sleep. "Morning." He said all of a sudden.
I smirk, and sit up. "I'll give you a ride to the games." Kendrick said, grabbing two helmets out of his closet. I looked at my thrown- together-outfit and nod. It was okay for a basketball game.
I stood up and took the helmet he held out. "What time is it?" I asked.
"Ten. Everyone is already at the games." I raised an eyebrow at him, wondering who woke him up.
I nodded, and opened the door silently. Walking down their hallway I opened the front door, and stepped into the glaring sunlight. Kendrick put a hand on my waist, and leaned me to his bike.
I was blushing like mad while we rode to the Local Community Basketball Stadium.
I looked around with big eyes. I haven't been here since my brothers basketball game, and I dared to look in. Now, with screaming fans and seats on both sides of the arena, it was quite big.
Kendrick put a hand on my arm, and lead me over to a door. Walking in, we went up a dark stairwell and opened the door at the top. Bursting with a sudden light we were standing on level 8, which was the top and best view of the stadium.
"Woah." I whispered, watching as the place almost shook.
"Yup. I gotta go get ready, some other people will be coming up also." He sighed, "That includes Marcie."
I smile and nod, "I might need some company." I said. Kendrick nodded, and without another word, he left.
Kendrick's POV:
I stood waiting for the rest of my team to get ready.
Most of them were late, which frustrated me. After a while Coach came out and started telling his ways of winning. The buzzer rang and everyone was ready. We all shouted, "ElCap!" and we ran out of the small changing room.
Screaming and yells, "Go ElCap!" today we where playing against the Masada team. The other team came running out, I noticed a few familiar faces. Lonnie, Taylor, Matthew, and Carl. This was going to be a tricky game . . .

Carl snatched the ball out of Jorden's hands and bolted down the court. Forth quarter, and only 40 seconds left. I ran after him, ignoring the shots from my team.
Surprisingly, I snatched the ball, and ran down the court. I stopped, aimed, shoot.
BRRRRRRRRRIIIIIINNGGG!
I made the winning shot. 40 to 39. I stared at the scoreboard with wide eyes. Everyone started patting me on the back and it was like the whole stadium was chanting my name.
I looked around, and my eyes went right to the door that lead up to where Ashley sat. A few seconds later it was thrown open, and Ashley jumped into my arms.
She was giggling like crazy as I twirled her around. Marcie stood behind us, and was giving me a huge smile. "Nice game Ken." She patted my shoulder since Ashley was still hugging me.
"Ashley?" She let me go instantly and turned to face a woman with dark hair and glasses. She had a pretty scary face and voice as well.
"Melissa." Ashley said with a ghost face. Melissa, that rang a bell. Marcie was wide-eyed, and looking at Ashley like she was sorry.
Oh. Wait, Melissa, her other mom.
"Well this is embarrassing." I mumble. Jeff all a sudden jumped on me, which made me lose balance and fall. Ashley chuckled, while Marcie did her full on obnoxious laugh.
"We need to talk." I heard her other mom whisper harshly.
"Jeff what the heck!?" I yelled, which made him laugh.
"Got ya!" And with that he bolted.
Marcie giggled, and helped me up.
"NO! LEAVE ME ALONE! YOU AREN'T THE BOSS OF ME, SO I DON'T HAVE TO LISTEN TO YOU!" Ashley twirled me around, and kissed me.
I stood in shock as she pulled away, and turned to her mom. I looked at her, and saw rage and anger in her eyes. Her mom turned and left without another word.
"What was that?" I asked all of a sudden.
Ashley blushed and turned to me. "Sorry, uhm, I think I'll get a ride with Marcie."
Ashley's POV:
For once I wanted to sleep. But the nightmares still chased me:
I stood in a field of flowers, Kendrick by my side. He held my hand in his, and was humming. He tugged me and we both fell onto the soft ground. He started to hum, and I closed my eyes to listen.
It stopped suddenly. "Ken?" I looked over but no one was there. The ground started to shake and I sat up. The meadow started to die, the trees wilted and black clouds flew in the sky.
Looking closer, I saw that they where grim reapers. My eyes widened and I started screaming Kendrick's name. I felt a hand touch me, and I jumped a foot high, landing on my feet.
I looked at the hand, and followed it, to where Kendrick stood. He wasn't the Kendrick I knew though. Draped in a cloak, he looked at me with empty eyes. "Look at what you have done."
"Look at what have you done," he screamed, "LOOK WHAT YOU HAVE DONE!"
I flew up and screamed. I was the only one in the room tonight, and all I could do was scream. Mother Carole came running into my room but I curled up and screamed some more.
Mother Carole patted my shoulder and sang an unrecognizable tune.
"Try to get somemore sleep dear." She whispered, but I only stared at the wall in a trance-like state.
Look at what I have done . . .
