That night felt like a blur. A fuzzy memory that kept creeping its way back to my consciousness. A thought that I didn't want to have. I've tried so many times to push back the events of that night but they somehow still have a hold on me. It's ironic how that night last week changed my days forever... I couldn't live with myself anymore. I have to take myself out of the equation and tonight is the night to do it.

"What are you thinking about?" Tanya waves a hand in front of my eyes.

"Nothing.." I sigh, focusing back on my locker. I take out my math binder and throw my pencil case and calculator into a pile on it.

"You're thinking about last week, aren't you? Don't worry, no one will ever find out. We've been through this, just shut up and act normal. Don't go soft on us." Says Tiara, her voice threateningly neutral with a hint of aggression.

"Guys, we already said no talking about this in public." Tanya stares at us both with a silencing look. "So are you guys coming to the shopping mall after school today?" Asks Tanya, trying to change the subject.

"Eh I don't know.. I have a lot of homework." I tilt my head down.

"Awh, who cares? Just do them when you get back." Snaps Tiara.

I don't know why I even bothered to come up with an excuse, they won't accept no for an answer. I have to say yes for now to get them out of the way. My plans will just have to wait until later.
"Okay. I guess... It's not like 'no' is part of your vocabulary so a yes is the only option." I mumble.

"Cheer up a bit Tegan; we're going shopping!" Says Tanya all excited. Tanya's like the typical white girl: long blonde hair, bright blue eyes and an addiction to Starbucks. She's so happy all the time, she makes me want to puke.

"Whatever." I shut my locker door and close the lock, turning the wheel not permitting my combo to be revealed.

"See you guys!" Yells Tanya half way down the hallway.

Tiara nudges my shoulder. I was tiny and she was tall, which made my shoulder very easy to nudge for her. "Whatchu think we're doing in math? "she asks.

"Whatever it is, it's a waste of time." I exhale and make my way towards the longest 75 minutes of my life.

"Ooo, I like this dress on me; shows my ass!" Says Tiara, smiling at her curvy reflection in the mirror. She whips out her phone, puckers her lips and takes a selfie. Her short brown hair falls infront of her eyes and she roughly places it behind her ear. "Hashtag, with my main bitchesss."

I roll my eyes as far back as they can go and let out a sigh. Tiara was obviously the badass of our group. She got 50's in all her classes, listens to punk rock and slept with half the hockey team. She has short brown hair up to her shoulders and an amazing body. Everyone wishes they were either with her or they were her, except me. When she'll realize how bad of a person she is, she'll crumble. Last week only highlighted how terrible she really was.

"Plus I look amazing in it. I think Imma get it in the other colours too." Not to mention arrogant, self-centered and major rich.

"Oh my God, Tiara just go with a brighter dress like this one." Suggests Tanya pointing to a flashy pink cocktail dress. Tanya, of course, was the source of my tiny but still there happiness. She glowed with happiness and radiated positive vibes. Her cute and innocent looks make her the perfect target for boys to crush on. But, she always declined their offers saying, "I'm too young to be with a boy...I have my friends and studies to work on for now." I still have no idea why she agreed to help do what we did. I know that the thought of it haunts her as much as me, but she's better at hiding her fear. At first, I thought she was a victim, like me. But I was wrong. I was so fucking wrong.
