Reunion (Chapter 15)

Linkle: Alright listen up Edward.

Edward: Whats up?

Linkle: I've been having these weird dreams lately..

Edward: Now that's you mention it I have also.

Linkle: Really?

Edward: I mean yeah what kind of dreams have you had?

Linkle: I've been having dreams of a city with big buildings..

Edward: That all?

Linkle: I mean there's more I just could only remember so much. What about you?

Edward: To be honest after I joined the union my life's been flipped, turned upside down

Linkle: Wasn't the day you joined, the day you were born?

Edward: Speaking of joining.. is our group just called "The Union"?

Linkle: Well, no. We were actually gonna name it later..

Edward: And you weren't gonna invite me?

*Jay peaks over Linkles shoulder*

Jay: They didn't invite me either.

Linkle: Ah!

Edward: When you said "We" who did you mean by that?

Linkle: Everyone except you two.

Edward: Why is that Linkle?

Linkle: Well you're new here, and Jay has some names..  just not good names.

Jay: Zar is a good name!

Linkle: With what meaning?

Edward: We can still go right?

Linkle: I mean if you want hyst don't be surprised if your opinion doesn't get carried over.

Edward: I mean I could care less.

Jay: Edward vote for mine.

Edward: Did you not hear what he said?

Jay: I heard exactly what he said.

*Later that day*

Atticus: Where's Linkle?

King Felix: Beats me.

*Linkle walks in along with Jay and Edward*

King Felix: I thought it was just us three?

Linkle: I had a slip of the tongue.

Atticus: Since all of us are here I'd say we do an anonymous vote.

Jay: How exactly do you expect for that to work?

Atticus: You and Edward aren't getting to vote or pick a name so you'll be the game Masters.

Jay: This is unfair.

Edward: I can't really vote for you now can I?

Jay: As if. Everyone put one another name down on your paper and give it to me in a single file line.

Linkle: Indubitably.

*King Felix, Linkle, and Atticus hand Jay their papers*

Jay: Edward you can read them.

Edward: Sure.

*Jay hands Edward the papers*

Edward: First vote goes to.. Jay?

King Felix: What a shame.

Atticus: Who the fuck?

Edward: Second vote goes to.. Linkle.
