Chapter 9: At Hermione's

The match ended with the victory of Gryffindor. Ron defended well and Angelina was satisfied since this was his first match.
He felt proud as he listened to the stadium chant his name, he wished Hermione was here to see him play.

After the game, there was lunch and everyone came to Ron to congratulate him on a great first game. He didn't even know half of those people, but does it even matter?
So many girls came up to him, started a conversation and laughed at everything he said, but he only had one in mind that he would see in a few hours.
Harry was proud of his friend, and they also congratulated him, and a herd of girls gathered around him and they all flirted with him. Ron could see Harry didn't care about them all asking if he wants to go out on butterbeer with them, but he kept looking at Ginny and tried to make his way towards her

"He just probably wants to congratulate her on the game" Ron tried convincing himself

Lunch ended and Harry, Ron and Ginny left to change their jerseys, so they thought of taking a walk on the lawn.
It was still cloudy outside, but the students were all taking walks or going to Hogsmeade. The three decided to go on Sunday, because when the whole school goes everywhere's crowded

"Ginny, just so you're in the know, you ain't coming with me today" Ron told her

"Says who?" she was teasing him, but the whole point of this was for her and Harry to prove that he really does like her and for him to show it. Also, she liked teasing him and Harry enjoyed watching that

"She was just polite" Ron became ever more annoyed

"Ginny, I reckon we ought to leave the lovebirds alone" he looked at Ron to see his reaction but all he saw was him blushing.
Harry winked at Ginny as a sign they succeeded in their plan

"Look, you can leg it if you fancy but", Ron said, "..I hoped we'll be alone you know..just the two of us"

Ginny couldn't keep the laughter so it just bursted out of her, followed by Harry. Ron suddenly stopped and looked at his sister and Harry who continued to walk and laugh.. What was even funny?

"Blimey, that's a right giggle!" he said sarcastically

"What?" Harry turned around, and Ron started to walk towards them

"You plonkers"

Ginny and Harry looked at eachother and started laughing. Again

It was finally the long-waited 4 o'clock!
Ron got ready and Harry could swear he saw him comb his hair because he peeked through the bathroom doors. The floo powder was ready and he decided to use the fireplace  in Dumbledore's office, what he asked him the same morning.
One thing was that he'll get dirty from the coal build up once he arrives to Hermione's.

Dumbledore told him to use the Wiping Spell "Tergeo" even though he was sure Hermione already knew it.

Ron stepped into the fireplace, took some powder, and said loudly and clearly:

"8 Heathgate, Hampstead Garden Suburb"

Whoosh!
A green light appeared which made Ron disappear..he saw so many fireplaces..it was so dirty and he couldn't breathe properly..more fireplaces appeared
Suddenly he saw the fireplace and the light of day and jumped out onto the gray carpet.
He arrived

"Great" Ron stood up, said 'Tergeo' and looked ahead; Hermione was sitting on the couch waiting for him

"Ron!" she exclaimed getting up to hug him.

He hugged her back and enjoyed the moment he waited for. The curls were beautiful as usual,she smelled great and he missed her warm hands.
The two separated from eachother and you could see how in love they were
