Chapter 11: Winter is warm with you

The day of Hermione's return finally dawned.. Everyone in Ron's room was still asleep, as was he. It was around 7:30 a.m. when Ron woke up by himself all of a sudden.. He remembered something but he couldn't figure out what. Then it occurred to him that Hermione was coming back today.
He got up, thinking about whether to wake Harry or not, in the end he decided not to and let him sleep for another half hour.
He changed his clothes and, as usual, brushed his teeth and all that, and took his wand, put on some perfume because his girlfriend came back to school after all.

She didn't tell the precise time of her return, only that it'll be before classes start..
Ron decided to go to the common room and wait for others to wake up..
It was empty and he was the only one there, he sat on a sofa in front of the fireplace and waited.. It was boring if you ask him, so he went upstairs to take his books and other supplies tor classes.
When he entered the dorm, Harry woke up who asked Ron to wait for him to get dressed and all so that they can go downstairs together.
Ron wondered if Harry forgot Hermione's coming back today since he didn't ask him anything about that.
After 5 minutes or so, the two went back to the common room when they saw Crookshanks, Hermione's cat.

"She's arrived!" Ron said and looked around the room but there was no one except him and Harry..He thought maybe Crookshanks arrived before Hermione or he never even left Hogwarts

"Maybe she's outside.." Harry said to disappointed Ron

"Yeah, maybe" the two then made their way towards the exit and in that moment the portrait opened and Hermione stepped in the room..

Her face lit up with a smile and a kind of glow when she saw Ron, she almost didn't even notice Harry.. The same thing happened to Ron, and Harry watched his two best friends in love from the sidelines.
Hermione ran into his arms and they hugged as if they hadn't seen each other in years, not a few days.
Ron literally inhaled Hermione's hair without letting go of her.

She missed Ron so much, and Harry too, but not as much as she missed Ron.. That moment of them hugging brought Hermione back to life after that curse struck her, it left her feeling so weak and lifeless until now..
Finally they separated and you could tell they wanted to kiss but Harry was present so the two thought that'd be strange

"Harry!" she said and hugged him too. He missed his best friend since she always helped him with homework, not to talk about every time her intelligence and perceiving of certain things saved the wizarding world

"It's good to see you Hermione" Harry told her as the two separated from the hug which was nowhere hear as long as Ron and Hermione's.

"It's good to see you too!" she replied

"Where's your suitcase?" Harry asked her as he slowly pushed Crookshanks from him because he didn't like the idea of ginger fur on his black slacks

"Oh, that..it's still on the way, I apparated with Dumbledore"

"You can already apparate? Ain't that a bit dodgy considering your condition" Ron asked because he was worried this could affect Hermione's health even more. From the way he asked it looked as if she was some inconsiderate crackhead instead of Hermione Granger..He made her feel quite stupid

"Of course I can" she answered noticeably annoyed

"Alright then" Ron said as he sat down on the sofa and the other two did the same

There was a short moment of silence until Hermione spoke

"Should we go to breakfast? I'm starving" and she really was because as soon as she woke up, Dumbledore insisted they go immediately so that she can greet her friends and be on time for classes
