Mayor's Office
4pmKason was beyond frustrated, the election was beginning and it seems already many of the citizens of Mob City want answers to the Grove becoming its own city. If that wasn't already an added bag of stress to his life, Derek's campaign in the Grove was already gaining a large amount of attention which has began to bother Raymond, "So Kason, you aren't going to do anything about your so called friend making a mockery of this election?" Raymond asked as he paced back and forth in Kason's office, "I don't like this Kason, I don't like this at all. You are allowing these bastards to make you look weak." Raymond continued, the door opening and closing silenced his rant, "Sheila...good to see you." Kason said and Raymond groaned internally as he turned to face his ex wife, "I didn't expect to see you anytime soon." Raymond said with a fake smile on his face, "Get used to it sweetheart, my father requested me to come and join Kason in his campaign as his advisor." Raymond looked shocked, "I'm his advisor." Sheila walked further in the room, "Not anymore and let's face it Raymond you were nothing but his financial advisor and you see where that got him? In the mess he is in now, this madness with the Grove and you allowed that to happen. You fumbled doing business with Dorian Fairchild.." Raymond interrupted, "How do you know about Dorian Fairchild?" Sheila laughed, "His family is one of the richest families in the world. Next to mine. Not to mention they are quite powerful. Something you know nothing about." Kason could sense the drama about to erupt and he wanted peace, after all the hell he raised and trying to keep his wife in the dark about it, "Look, her father has funded this campaign. With this money I should win by a landslide. There isn't even a need for me to know who my opponent is." Kason stated as he took a seat at his desk, Raymond glared at him. He felt beyond betrayed that Kason would even accept an offer from Sheila and her family. It was the cherry on top for Raymond who refused to be backed into a corner like he was for most of his and Sheila's marriage. Without thinking the words fell out of his mouth like vomit, "I am your opponent." Kason looked at him with shock, Sheila began to laugh, "Don't be ridiculous. No one would vote for you. You have no money, and no background. You will lose." Raymond walked passed Sheila and turned for a final word, "May the best man win." Raymond walked away as the sounds of Sheila laughing continued to be heard all the way to the elevators.

Adina was heading back to the Grove, she had sentimental things left at her old house which she gladly gave to Vanessa, she had been trying to contact Vanessa all day but no answer and the same thing for Monica. What she didn't expect was to arrive to the house she grew up and seeing most of it burned to the ground. Her heart pounding as tears formed in her eyes, she rushed out of her car and walked closer but firemen and police officers stopped her, "They ain't gonna let you in." She turned and saw Ricky, dressed in all black like he was going to a funeral, "What happened to my house?" Ricky shrugged, the last few days had been toxic for him to say the least and he still harboring guilt from his encounter with Monica not too long ago, "Girl the Grove is getting ugly before it gets pretty. Attacks, rapes. I don't know what the hell is going on. I came by to check on Milk but she ain't here." Adina felt so hurt that most of her sentimental things that were left were more than likely destroyed, she had questions and the only person to answer them was no where to be found.
Lucky pulled up to Darnell's house, he was furious. He was so upset he felt like crying but the deep rooted hatred he has for Zay won't let him, "You good bruh?" Darnell said as he walked down his steps toward Lucky, "I want to burn GCK to the ground." Darnell had a feeling word got out about Lucky switching sides, he knew it was a matter of time before retaliation would begin, "What happened man?" Lucky could barely think straight, "Zay beat my girl, rapes her and not only that but burns down her house. It won't even her house it was a friend of hers she was living in." Darnell felt the pain in his chest, he remembered Vanessa was staying at Adina's old house, "What you mean they burnt down her house? Like it's gone?" Lucky shook his head, "Most of it. Now...when do we get to killing?" Darnell thought if they kept it up he would lose more soldiers and affiliates than he would like, "We can't keep fighting fire with fire. We gotta think smarter than them. Hit them where it hurts." Lucky didn't want to hear that but he knew he had no choice but to listen to Darnell, he would have his ones with Zay sooner or later.
