Mona's house
11amMonica returned to the home that brought so much terror to her life. It's been a nightmare since her son was killed, she has been begging God to go back in time and bring back her son. Life had been horrid the last few weeks, tonight was yet another night of her not sleeping. She's been avoiding Luther like the plague even though he told her Omar was dead. That didn't make her feel good, she didn't know what to think and in just a month her whole life was flipped upside down and she doesn't want to even talk to her mother. As she stood in the house that had bloody memories soaked into the walls she felt a pair of hands on her shoulders and she shrieked and jumped looking behind her to a concerned Luther, "What? What are you doing here?" She asked holding her chest and he held his hands up, "I'm sorry. I ain't mean to scare you, but I was worried about you." Monica looked away from him, she had plans to clean up the house and make it new but where to start, "Don't worry about me. I'm fine." Luther knew better, he knew she was hurting and was acting too proud to admit it, "You're not fine. Your son was just killed. He's dead. You're far from fine and Monica it's okay." She turned to look at him, "You can't be here. You can't be the comfort for me." He looked at her with hurt, "Why? Why do you keep pushing me away?" Monica exclaimed, "Are you forgetting that you possibly might be my father?!" He sighed and pulled out the piece of paper revealing the truth, "I'm not." He said as she took it and read it, a huge wave of relief left her body but still the aching sensation of emptiness was left, "Omar was your father Monica. Before he got what he deserved he told me Mona lied to me to split us up." Monica believed it, her mother was messed up in the head and maybe finally she needed to sit down with her face to face, "This is too much." She was on the verge of breaking apart and as she fell to her knees and weeped, Luther was there to hold her. Hopefully repair her broken heart.
East Mob City
Green Luck Juniper Records Building
2pmBernadette was having a meeting with Marcus, she knew he was the real hidden talent behind his friend who chose to stick with Tiggs records, there was just a few things that she had to ask Marcus, "Now being with my brand and being apart of the Green Luck family is that you remain focused. This is your career here and if anything outside of that compromises you being able to deliver on deadlines and shows then let me know now." Marcus understood what she was saying, however he didn't think he had to choose between his life in the gang and a dream career he's wanted since he was a kid, "Nothing. Absolutely nothing is gonna keep me from being focused." He replied and Bernadette smiled, "Oh yes it is. There is one person that will distract you." Marcus smirked and looked down, "Clover and I we...we are just friends." Bernadette shrugged with a smirk, "Oooh what do I know? Besides the fact that chemistry between you too is insane. I know this, Samuel tries to control every aspect of his empire and his money. If he is using Benny to expand that empire then Clover is going to unfortunately be caught in the crossfire and I'm going to need all the help I can get to get her out of it." She explained and Marcus didn't know what she meant at first. He knew she would do anything to protect her daughter and he respected that, he also respected his best friend.
Clover was sipping some warm tea in her room at the beach house, the front door opened and Benny walks in, "Hey baby." He said and he was amazed at how beautiful she looked with her long blonde hair down her back a little wet from her previously being in the pool. Her outfit consisting only of a white bikini, "You just keep getting more sexy every day." He said as he walked up and grabbed her by her hips kissing her neck, "Whose Tyra?" She asked and he froze, he didn't think she would ever hear that name let alone say it, "Tyra who?" Clover rolled her eyes, strike one she kept a mental note of, "Don't do that. You know who the fuck she is, she posted pictures of you and her, tagged me, got my fans going crazy asking questions. Making me look stupid!" Benny immediately goes to Tyra's Instagram and sees the selfie they took when they were first together, caption says, 'I'm so proud of my baby's father out here doing big things.' He wanted to punch the wall, "Damn man! I can't escape her." Clover glared at him, "So you do know her. Listen I don't care how, but fix this, and you told me you don't have no kids!" Benny sighed and grabbed Clover lightly, "Baby I don't, she claim she pregnant with my baby but she cheated on me most of the relationship, so I'm sure it ain't even mine if she is pregnant." Clover groaned, "This is some ghetto shit and I don't do ghetto. Get it together. Now." She walked past him to the bathroom to shower and it left him to his thoughts, how could he even begin to stop Tyra from being the biggest troll in his life.
