Onyx Night Club
Downtown Mob City
11pmBenny's life was changing at an incredible rate, he wasn't nearly prepared for how he has skyrocketed and it was only the beginning. A new career, a new life, he wasn't thinking about anything going on in the Grove. However the problems in the Grove were gonna come straight to him. Sitting in the VIP section of the club, Clover was dancing with her friends while he sat with his entourage that was appointed to him from Samuel. He didn't even really know any of them, however he needed to be seen doing things celebrities do. Clover was there for appearances with her now very public growing relationship, she did like Benny but she knew it was mostly just lust. Benny however being so new to the game took this budding relationship seriously, how long he would take it serious was all about how famous he was going to be.
Tyra walked in the club with her girls, one thing on her mind was to do something about Benny and Clover being together. Looking around she saw him in VIP, holding Clover from the back and hugging her. Jealousy fuming in her blood as she watched them look as if they were blissfully in love. Walking up to the VIP section the guard took one look and smirked letting her in, the benefits of being a beautiful woman. She walked right up to them, "Awe look at the lovely couple." Benny knew that voice and he instantly wish he could disappear as he turned around to face Tyra, "What you want? How you even get over here?" Tyra rolled her eyes at the question, "Negro don't act like I'm not fine and you weren't all up in this." Tyra responded and Clover turned to see the current situation, "Oh so you're the pressed ex." Clover said and Tyra held her hand up in her face, "I wasn't talking to you. Now you, why you been dodging my calls? Too busy in fantasy land to talk to people in the real world." Clover pushed Tyra's hand out of her face, "Bitch please don't think I won't fuck you up in the club. If he wanted to see you he would. Now take your no class out of here before you get thrown out." Tyra smirked in sarcasm, "You sure do know how to pick them don't you?" Benny interrupted, "Tyra go home! You know what, how you gonna come up in my face with any attitude as if you didn't do what you did. That shit ain't changed. And you know from what I heard from homies in the Grove you don't have much of a home to go back to. Seeing as how they making your life a living hell." Tyra sighed and looked at him pleading, "Benny please. I said I was sorry. Look I can't raise this baby by myself." Benny shrugged, "Tough. I suggest you head over to the detention center and talk to the father of the baby cause I know it's not me. Don't even try to be slick with that shit, you see me coming up and you want a free ride to fame. Nah fuck that and fuck you." Tyra could see her tricks weren't working so being nasty seemed to be the only result, "Oh don't act all high and mighty cause you with miss light skin. If you won't be a father then the courts will make you and I have no problem getting you put on child support." Benny glared at her, "Bitch as if. You think they would allow someone who witnessed a beating and a rape to raise a child. You ain't even 5 months and demanding shit from me and you know I ain't the father. Fuck out my face!" Benny took Clover's hand as she laughed at Tyra, "Ghetto trash." The entourage all laughed as the young celebs made their way out the club. Tyra watched as her meal ticket left in the arms of another and tears threatened to spill from her mascara adorned eyes.*************************************************
Dorian's hotel room
6amAshawntee was loving every moment of her existence as she was whisked into the land of rich white man. Dorian pleased her in every way possible and sexually he was a maniac. She awoke again in the large comfortable king sized bed covered in rose petals from the night before. The small tray of breakfast on the bed and sounds of him on the balcony on a business call, it was a life she could easily get used to. Sitting up she checked her phone and saw she got a text from Ricky, 'Whenever you done playing house come see me, I'm in the lobby.' Rolling her eyes she got up and threw on a dress before letting Dorian know she was going to the lobby quickly, whatever Ricky wanted better be good she thought.
Getting down to the lobby it wasn't hard to find Ricky who was dressed in a short tight green dress that was sparkly in the early morning, walking up to him, "Damn, why do you insist on wearing loud ass evening dresses it's early as hell." Ricky threw her the finger and motioned for her to have a seat. Ashawntee sat across from him, "So what do you want? It's not like I don't have something to do." Ricky smirked and chuckled sarcastically, "You mean someone to do. Nah baby I just wanted to fill you in on what's going on around you, seeing as how you just love living it up in this dirty ass city for whatever reason." Ashawntee rolled her eyes, "I've lived here since I was 18 now what's really up? I know you ain't come up here to discuss my living arrangements." Ricky nodded, "Okay listen, shit about to get real in this city and not in a good way. The people who you think are your friends are into some deep shit and I don't want to see my baby get burned in the crossfire." Ashawntee was confused, "You are the main one who gets into some shit not me, I mind my business. But who is in some shit? Since you know everything." Ricky sat up, "Your auntie Nicki for one, where the hell she getting this money to start her own strip club and for who? Some rich white folks?" Ashawntee should have known that Ricky was just here to gossip and spread her aunt's business, "Don't sit there and act like white men don't pay to see big booty black girls shake it. Why are you constantly spreading misinformation and gossip? Auntie is handling business and for your information she has an online boutique that is racking in damn near 7 figures. She has talent and uses it for good. You think this whole world is straight out of a damn video game." Ricky stood up, "I'm just trying to help you out. You shacking up with a man you know nothing about except he got money. All these changes happening in the city and it don't look good. All I'm saying is when Darnell makes it as mayor of Grove City, don't be trying to crawl back." Ashawntee also stood up getting tired of her gossiping father, "News flash, he ain't winning and when Derek does win, I don't want to see you crying and rushing to Mob City trying to ride off anyones coat tails cause you can't keep up with the new changes of the Grove. Bye daddy." She went right to the elevators leaving Ricky standing there pondering what she said.
