Third Person POV

That night, Gabby is sitting at her computer, working on her biology homework, waiting for her boyfriend to show up. It's only 9 o'clock, so it's still pretty early for him to show up to her room through the window. The seemingly early hour doesn't stop Edward from jumping into her room through his usual entry window, a move he's gotten better at with repeated practice.

Sitting, perched on the windowsill for a moment, he looks around the room, taking in the sight of his beautiful girl. She's typing away on her computer, worrying about the essay not realizing he's right behind her. He sits down on her bed, watching her with a large smile on his face. About a few minutes later, Gabby reaches over and picks up her glass of tea.

Sighing as she realizes it's empty, she turns her chair around. She jumps and covers her mouth to stop herself from screaming when she sees the boy sitting on her bed. He chuckles softly and raises an eyebrow at her as he leans forward, putting his elbows on his knees. She playfully glares at him as she sets down the glass she was going to refill.

"How long have you been in here?" She asks, eyes never leaving him.

He smirks and shrugs his shoulders as if he just got there.

She shakes her head and stands up, walking over to him. When she gets close enough, he wraps his arms around her and pulls her between his legs.

"You're like a peeping Tom. Watching me while I work." She smirks, playfully shaking in a mock disapproving manner.

He bites his lip to stop from laughing out loud before falling backward onto the bed as he pulls her forward. She squeals softly, putting her hands out to brace herself. They land with her straddling his hips with her hands on each side of his head. They smile at one another, but their faces are closer than usual.

She bites her lip, not quite knowing what to do in this situation. He takes in a deep unneeded breath and removes his hands from her waist so she can see them.

"I would like to try something if you don't mind."

She nods softly, wanting it almost as much as him. He puts his hands down on her hips again and leans up. He hesitates for a split moment, scared he's going to lose control, but he pushes down all the worry. Edward softly presses his lips against hers, allowing Gabby to back up if she's too uncomfortable.

Gabby leans forward, kissing him back. Electricity flows through the soulmates as their souls finally connect for the first time. Edward reaches up and gently cups her cheek, deepening the kiss just slightly before pulling away. She pants softly, looking into his eyes. He smiles, proud of himself that he did not lose control.

She moves slightly so she's laying down next to him, her legs hanging off the bed. He wraps an arm around her and gently pulls her to his side, holding her close to him. She smiles softly, laying her head on his chest, one arm draped over the middle of his stomach, relaxing and basking in the moment.
