After everyone left for the archery competition beside the elder, Lan Qiren, Wei Wuxian and Lan Wangji, the two of them decide to go to Yiling to get the bamboo from the burial mound.
The two soon arrived at the bottom of the burial mound, "Wei Ying are you sure you want to go back in there?"
"Is okay Lan Zhan. I got my golden core to protect me and your here as well," Wei Wuxian pull out the Yin Hufu, "this will take in all of the resentment energy of this place."
Indeed the Yin Hufu suck in all of the resentment all around the place. Within an hour or so the place is all clear up.
"When Wen Chao throw me in this place I don't know if I should die or should I live. One thing that make me want to continue living, do you know what it is?" Wei Wuxian turn to look at Lan Wangji who is looking at him.
"I heard your voice calling out my name, you kept me going, you kept me want to come out of here alive."
"Wei Ying."
Wei Wuxian walk toward the bamboo area, he use his sword to cut it down, "did you believe me back then?"
"I did."
"Right, let's stay here for a while until I finish forging Chenqing."
When night fall come Wei Wuxian have finish forging Chenqing, "Nice to have you back Chenqing. Lan Zhan I'm done," Lan Zhan opened his eye, "Mn. Let's head back." (Let's said Wei Wuxian finish in just one day since he done it before)
Archery Competition
"Xichen ge, I will go with Lan Zhan. Meet you back at the front," Lan Xichen nodded his head. The three went separate way, "Let's make Gusu number one okay?"
"Mn."
Wei Ying and Lan Zhan hit more then 10, 20, 30 and more ghost then any other clan.
"Qingheng Jun, your disciple and son are doing very well. They have more flare then any other clan disciple." Jin Guangshan said from behind his fan.
"Why thank you Sect leader Jin. We haven't know the result yet, so let wait until the end shall we?" 'The best archery is A-Zhan and Wei Ying, it was them who hit more ghost. I know that A-Huan is doing a great job as well.'
While searching for most of the ghost target both Wei Ying and Lan Zhan hear Jiang Cheng shouting, "Ouyang watch out!"
"Lan Zhan!" Wei Ying went after Lan Zhan when he went off to save one of the clan disciple. When Wei Ying got there he see Lan Zhan shoot with one arrow, he aim at the middle arrow, it split down the middle and break in half. That middle arrow wood hit the two arrow on the two side, Lan Zhan arrow went fly toward the target it then lit up a flare to symbolize Gusu clan.
"Lan Zhan! You didn't wait for me," Wei Ying walk over to Lan Zhan side. "I'm sorry Wei Ying."
"Is okay. Jiang Cheng, Ouyang, are you two alright?" Wei Ying ask the two of them.
"Yeah, we're alright."
"Wei Ying let's go," Wei Ying nodded his head, "See you two at the front." Wei Ying follow behind Lan Zhan and when he did, he see Lan Zhan ribbon is about to become unloose.
"Lan Zhan Lan Zhan, your ribbon is about to come undone."
"Ridiculous."
"I'm seriously, here let me help you." Wei Ying grab onto Lan Zhan ribbon, it came out. Lan Zhan eye went wide and red, he turn around to look glared at Wei Ying.
"Eep... Lan Lan Lan Zhan, don't look at me like that. I didn't mean too, I told you it was coming out. Here," Wei Ying handed back to Lan Zhan who grab it and left.
"Lan Zhan don't be mad, I'm sorry. Is there a reason why you don't want me to touch it?" This got Lan Zhan to stop walking, "Lan Zhan?"
Lan Zhan begin to walk again while saying, "didn't you learn anything when you were studying in cloud Recesse?"
"Ummm....I don't remember much, I kind of have bad memories. Can you tell me?" Once again Lan Zhan stop.
"Think for yourself." Lan Zhan begin to walk again.
"Ah Ah Lan Zhan!" Wei Ying run after Lan Zhan while still asking him what is the meaning of the Lan forehead ribbon.
The archery competition is finally over, everyone is at the same place once more. "Xichen ge!" Wei Ying run over to where Lan Xichen is at. Follow behind him is Lan Zhan who take his time to walk to his brother and Wei Ying.
"Xichen ge, how did you do?"
"I think I did good, how about you and Wangji?" Lan Xichen see Wei Ying eye lit up, "we took down lot of ghost, did you see our Gusu flare?"
"I did. I am sure one of you will get first place."
Soon the same person who announced the start of the archery is now announcing who is in the first four of the archery competition.
"First place - Gusu Lan clan - Wei Wuxian"
Lan Zhan and Lan Xichen look at Wei Ying with a proud smile on their face, "Xichen ge! Lan Zhan! Did you hear!?" Wei Ying said softly so he won't cause trouble for everyone around him. 'Da Ge will be proud of me! I can't wait to tell him.'
"Second Place- Gusu Lan clan - Lan Xichen"
Wei Ying turn around and jump on Lan Xichen, "Xichen ge! You got second place!" this surprise Lan Xichen, he just hugged Wei Ying back.
"Third place - Gusu Lan Clan - Lan Wangji"
Wei Ying went to hugged Lan Zhan, this cause Lan Zhan ear to turn red. 'Wangji, your ear is red. You never let anyone touch you but now you let Wuxian hug you. If older Wuxian and old Wangji is together then that mean these two child will be together as well?'
"Congratulations Lan Zhan!"
"Fourth place - LanLing Jin clan - Jin Zixuan."
(Yes Jiang clan didn't get call since Wei Ying isn't part of the Jiang clan. Hopefully this will help the Jiang clan stay safe.)
When the archery competition is over Lan Xichen, Lan Zhan, Wei Ying and the other Lan disciple is waiting for Qingheng Jun to come out.
"Wei gongzi! You did a great job! You got first place!" The other Lan disciple came to talk to Wei Ying about his first place in the archery competition.
"Thank you but we all did a great job together."
"Wangji, why don't you join in on with them?" Lan Xichen know that Lan Zhan want to but didn't too shy or don't want other people to know that he want to be part of their group.
"No need."
'*sigh* when are you going to learn to talk to other people and become friend with them beside Wuxian.'
"Is everyone ready to head home?" They all nodded their head. "Everyone you all did a great job!"
"Thank you sect leader!"
