"Xichen ge, I don't like to be separated from Lan Zhan," they are now in the room that the Wen have set for them.

"Wuxian didi, do you like Wangji?" Lan Xichen asked as he went to sit down on Wei Ying bed.

Wei Ying is blushing now, "Mn." He said this while nodding his head. "Does Wangji know?" Wei Ying shook his head no.

"I will as soon as everything settle down. I get the feeling that there is something is about to happen. Something big."

"I also get the feeling as well, let's put our guard on," Wei Ying nodded his head.

The next morning everyone was taken to the place where they will have their indoctrination. When Lan Xichen and Wei Ying is walking toward the meeting place Wei Ying see Lan Zhan.

"Lan Zhan!" Lan Zhan turn around to see Wei Ying and Lan Xichen walking toward them, "Xiong zhang, Wei Ying," Wei Ying went to hug Lan Zhan, "I'm so glad your okay?"

Lan Xichen look at how Lan Zhan ear turn bright red, 'My my my my didi is in love with Wuxian.'

Soon a voice said, "Everyone line up!"

Lan Zhan in front, Wei Ying and then Lan Xichen. They all see Wen Chao walking down the stair from up stair. He begin to talk trash to everyone below him, "one by one, hand in your sword. This is an order from our Excellency."

'So this is why Wei Wuxian from the future tell us to bring a fake sword in of our real one.' Lan Xichen look up to see both Wei Ying and Lan Zhan looking back at him. The two see Lan Xichen nodded his head.

'No wonder Da Ge doesn't want us to bring our real sword, Wen Chao is taken them away.'

"Now hand it in, in return you will receive our Wen clan book "The Quintessence of Wens". I will ask each one of you to recite what is written in our book."

They were sent back to their room, "their food isn't that good. Xichen ge, even though your clan food is bland at least is still taste good." Wei Ying poke around at the food on his dish.

"Wuxian, if you don't eat you won't have enough energy for tomorrow," Wei Ying look up to see Lan Xichen reading the book that we're giving to them by the Wen disciple.

"Xichen ge, is there anything good in there?" Wei Ying asked as he walk over to Lan Xichen bed.

"Well there is something but I don't think the Wen clan follow it."

"Hear let me read it to you. "all those who oppress others and do evil relying on the power of their house should be killed. Not only that, they should be beheaded for tens of thousands to revile so that those to come would beware.""

Hearing Lan Xichen read this Wei Ying let out a laugh, "hahahahahah," Lan Xichen smile at this, "Xichen ge, Xichen ge, do you think we can compare the Wen head to the pig head?"

Lan Xichen let out a chuckle since he know what Wei Wuxian is talking about.

Then following morning they once again gather to the same place, Wen Chao call on them to read The Quintessence of Wens.

"Lan Wangji, Wei Wuxian, Jin Zixuan," Wei Ying grab hold of Lan Zhan long sleeves.

Lan Zhan reached his hand back to touch Wei Ying hand, "I won't do it."

"Wei Wuxian, Jin Zixuan."

"I won't do it," come Jin Zixuan.

"I will," Lan Zhan and Wei Ying look back at Lan Xichen, "Xichen ge," Lan Xichen patted Wei Ying head, "we will be fine."

Lan Xichen is able to said everything that is inside The Quintessence of Wens book. They were safe for now.

Wei Wuxian and Lan Wangji arrived outside the place where they have stop for a rest. "Lan Zhan, we should hide."

"Mn."

The two of them hide deep within the forest until the other come their way. "Do you think they will be alright?" Wei Wuxian asked while he cook them something to eat.

"Are you worry about your past life?" Lan Wangji asked.

"Mn. I change myself. I change my past life, he not the same person as I was before. Right now, A-Ying is like a spoil like child but not that spoil. I want to make A-Ying life a happy one not the one where we come from."

"We are here, we can change that, both your and mine."

The two wait in the forest for two days. Two day until they see Wen Chao and the other walking in their direction.

Qishan

"Change of plan, we are going on a night hunt." Everyone look up at Wen Chao, "Night hunt?"

They all left Qishan, "Xichen ge, where do you think we are going?"

"No idea. Let's keep going okay?" Wei Ying nodded his head. 'I think Wei gongzi and Wangji is around here somewhere.'

While everyone is distracted, Lan Xichen look around the forest there he see Wei Wuxian sneaking his head out, he nodded his head to Lan Xichen who did the same.
Lan Xichen see Wei Wuxian pointed to the top of the mountain, Lan Xichen look to the mountain and then look back to Wei Wuxian, he gave Lan Xichen a nod again.

Wei Wuxian eye went wide, 'Crap, Mian Mian is with them and so is that women.' He look over at Lan Wangji, he mouth, "don't worry it won't happen."

'A-Ying be careful in there.'

"I know where the cave is,"Lan Xichen walk in the direction of the mountain. Everyone follow Lan Xichen.

They soon arrived at the cave entrance, "This cave is big, dark and scary, what do you think they are looking for?" Wei Wuxian asked.

"I'm not sure, be careful okay?" Lan Xichen said to Wei Wuxian as they walk on the edge of the cliff.

"Isn't this a dead end?" One of the disciple said while everyone look around them. "Go down?"

"What?! Is there even a bottom down there?!" Wen Chao went over to Wei Wuxian and push him forward.

"Wei Ying!"

"Wuxian!"

Lan Wangji and Lan Xichen look over at Wen Chao with a death glare, 'I won't let you live Wen Chao.'
