Chapter 15

When everyone came back to Cloud Recesse Wei Ying run/walk to go find his brother. When Wei Ying went back to their home in Cloud Recesse he see his brother talking to Lan Xiao, "Da Ge!" The two look up to see Wei Ying running toward them.

"Wei Ying, no shouting," Wei Ying stuck out his tongue at Lan Xiao, "can't you be more nicer to me, Lan Zhan," Wei Wuxian whispered to Lan Wangji to hear only.

"Da Ge! Guess what?" Wei Wuxian smile at his didi, "What is it?"

"I got first place in the archery competition, then Lan Zhan, then Xichen ge," Wei Ying went to sit next to Wei Wuxian.

"That's my didi, then who got fourth place?" Wei Wuxian already know, 'if not Jiang Cheng then is Jin Zixuan.'

"Peacock."

"Pfff hahahahaha! You hear that Lan Xiao!" Wei Wuxian let out a big laugh.

"Wei Yuan back to the topic please," Lan Wangji said with a sterning tone, "alright alright," Wei Wuxian wipe the tear from his eye.

"A-Ying, can you and Lan Zhan start to do patrol at night as well? We are afraid that the Wen will attack cloud Recesse either tomorrow or the day after that."

"They wouldn't?!" Wei Ying stood up at this.

"We just want to be cautious, can you go tell Lan Zhan that?"

"Mn. I will go right now," Wei Ying ran off to tell Lan Zhan.

"Wei Ying! What is it that you want to do?!" Lan Wangji asked while been dragged by Wei Wuxian. "Permission from Qingheng Jun. I want to set an alarm on your gate, if the Wen set it off the flare of Gusu will send us a signal to let us know that the Wen is attacking Cloud Recesse."

"That is a good idea but don't A-Die have to gather everyone for a meeting?"

"That will be your job to tell him."

"Okay."

Once they arrive Qingheng Jun invited the two of them in, "Now what can I help the two of you with?" So Wei Ying begin to tell Qingheng Jun about his plan and what need to be done.

"Also A-Die, we should have a meeting with everyone including our inner disciple and outer disciple this way they will know when to run to the cold cave for protection."

"Then let's go," all three left from there, Qingheng Jun ask his brother Lan Qiren to gathered everyone for a meeting that mean including the outer disciple as well.

When everyone gathered in the orchid room, Qingheng jun look around the place. "Da Ge, why are the Lan clan having a meeting?" Wei Ying asked.

"We are in this as well, listen closely okay, A-Ying?" Wei Ying nodded his head.

'Since we are living in Cloud Recesse, that make this our home now. We must take down the Wen as much as we can especially Wen Xu.'

Wei Wuxian though were interrupted by Qingheng Jun, "Listen up everyone, our friend Wei gongzi is going to put up an alarm in front of our gate. If you see our clan flare going up into the sky, that mean the Wen is attacking us. I want everyone to take cover in the cold cave. Inner disciple help outer disciple into the cold cave, everyone understands?"

"Yes sect leader!"

"A-Ying, you and Lan Zhan will fight together, okay? Don't leave Lan Zhan side no matter what?"

"Yes Da Ge."

After the meeting everyone left the orchid room beside Qingheng Jun, Lan Xichen, Lan Zhan, Lan Wangji, Wei Wuxian and Wei Ying.

"A-Zhan, you and Wuxian will patrol the night make sure nothing is out of the ordinary, okay?"

"Yes A-Die."

Qingheng Jun look to Lan Wangji and Wei Wuxian, "Wei gongzi when are you going to start preparing?"

"Right now, if that is okay with you?" Wei Wuxian asked.

"Of course."

"Lan Xiao, let's go," all four left the orchid room. "a-Die, should we take our ancient book and other important book to somewhere safe?"

"I think that is the best idea. Try bring it into the cold cave, this way it won't get burn by the Wen." Lan Xichen went to do just that.

At the front gate, Lan Wangji watch as Wei Wuxian put on an alarm on the array. Then he put the flare on each side of the gate but behind it so that the Wen won't see it.

"There, if the Wen step through this gate, the flare will shot into the sky this will let us know that the Wen is coming."

Wei Wuxian look at Lan Wangji, "Lan Zhan, did they attack Cloud Recesse when the archery competition is over?" Wei Wuxian asked.

"Mn. We didn't know that they were going to attack us first. We were unprepared for there attack. If we knew then father would've died, xiong zhang wouldn't go missing and Shifu wouldn't get injured."

Wei Wuxian walk up to Lan Wangji as he take Lan Wangji hand into his, "Lan Zhan," Lan Wangji look up at Wei Wuxian, "Lan Zhan, I'm here, we are here, we can change the past. I want to change my past life, I don't want him to go through what I have gone through. It look like I did. Instead of the Jiang who found him, it was me who take him in and looking after him when our parents pass away."

"You can also change your clan out come, you can still save your family. I'm here with you," Lan Wangji nodded his head, "Wei Ying is here."

"Mn. I'm here. Now let's head back inside, I am expecting that the Wen will attack tomorrow."

That night Wei Wuxian walk around cloud Recesse to search for Wei Ying and Lan Zhan. "Lan zhaaaaaaannnnnn, I'm tire, can we get some rest." Wei Ying whined.

'That's must be them,' "Wei Ying," Wei Wuxian turn around to see Lan Wangji behind him. "Let's go tell them to go get some rest?"

"Mn."

The two went to tell Lan Zhan and Wei Ying to go back to their room to get their rest, "Lan Zhan, A-Ying." The two turn to see Lan Wangji and Wei Wuxian standing behind them.

"Xiao Ge, Da Ge," they walk over to Wei Wuxian and Lan Wangji.

"We will take over, you two go get some rest. A-Ying, stay with Lan Zhan tonight okay?"

"Okay Da Ge, come on Lan Zhan," Wei Ying dragged Lan Zhan away from there.

"Your ear is red, Lan Zhan." Wei Wuxian teased Lan Wangji.

"Boring," Lan Wangji walk away from Wei Wuxian who is giggling because Lan Wangji younger self ear was red when Wei Ying dragged Lan Zhan away from there.

Just like in the future, Cloud Recesse is under attack by the Wen clan but this time the Lan Clan is ready for them.
