Chapter 22

Wei Wuxian and Lan Wangji take Lan Xichen, Lan Zhan and Wei Ying to a place that is heavy guarded. The front gate is big, made of wood, and inside is all of the Wen disciple guarding the place.

"Is this where Wen Chao is staying?" Lan Xichen asked in a whispered voice.

"Yes," Wei Wuxian nodded his head.

"Da Ge, how are we suppose to take them down?" Wei Ying asked.

"I will go in first, the rest of you wait for my signal," Wei Wuxian look back to look at the other behind him. Wei Wuxian left first, he went into the wood to attack them from behind. 'Right,' Wei Wuxian send up a signal.

Lan Xichen, Lan Wangji, Lan Zhan and Wei Ying, saw the signal, they went into an attack mode. They burst down the door, all of the Wen disciple didn't get the chance to get ready when all four of them attack them Wen first.

As for Wei Wuxian, he did what he did in the future. He make Wen Chao pay for what he did to Lan Wangji, to Cloud Recesse, to Jiang Cheng and to Lotus Cove. 'Suffer your Wen dog!' Wei Wuxian play on his Chenqing, the resentment energy came out, it went toward Wen Chao and begin to torture him.

'I need to finish this first before the other come looking for Wen Chao. Wen Chao, you don't have Wen Zuliu to protect you, this time I will take care of you before you can hurt anyone else.'

The resentment energy surrounded Wen Chao, he is scare, he doesn't know what it is that is surrounding him. "Get him!" The resentment energy turn into a hand and it grip around Wen Chao neck. The hand tighten more tightly around Wen Chao neck until Wen Chao couldn't breath anymore. His body went limb, it is a sign to let Wei Wuxian know that Wen Chao is dead.

Wei Wuxian call back his resentment energy, "now all that left is Wen Rouhan. Lan Zhan and I need to discuss this with Xichen ge and Qingheng Jun," with that saying he went back to the front to meet up with Lan Wangji, Lan Zhan, Lan Xichen and Wei Ying.

When Wei Wuxian went back to the front, he see that the other already taken care of the Wen disciple, "Da Ge!" Wei Wuxian smiled at Wei Ying, 'he getting better. His life away from the Jiang clan made him more happier then his first life.'

"Xichen ge, let head home," Lan Xichen nodded his head. All five of them ride on their way back to cloud Recesse, "Wei gongzi, you have something on your mind?" Lan Xichen went close to Wei Wuxian side.

"Wen Rouhan will use the puppet against us. I have to use my demonic cultivation to fight against him. The thing I am worrying about is, after the war, the other clan will want my Yin Hufu. Especially Jin Guangshan, he is one greedy and power hungry clan leader."

Wei Wuxian look over at Lan Xichen, "Xichen ge, you can't trust Jin Guangyao, he will do anything to get his father attention."

"Is he really that bad?" Wei Wuxian nodded his head, "alright, I will try not to be too close to him."

"Also, we need to have a discussion with Qingheng Jun. The war is about to begin."

This Lan Xichen agree, 'The Wen Clan have gone too far. And so is the Jin clan.'

They soon arrived in Gusu, the first thing they do is to go see Qingheng Jun. "So the war is about to begin?" Wei Wuxian nodded his head.

"A-Die, there soon will be a meeting with other clan leader. Will you be going?" Lan Zhan asked his father.

"I have to A-Zhan, if other clan leader is there then as a clan leader I should be there as well. Beside, our cultivation world is in trouble. We all need to come together to fight our enemies."

Qingheng jun look at all five boy, "You all look tire, why not go back to your room to get some rest?" All five of them nodded their head.

Wei Wuxian and Wei Ying went back to their home, Lan Zhan went back to his Jingshi, Lan Xichen and Lan Wangji went back to Hanshi. When they all got back to their room, they fell asleep just like that.

The next morning they woke up fresh and full of energy. The news came to Cloud Recesse, "Since everyone is here, it is time for all of the clan to have a meeting at the Nie clan in Qinghe."

Lan Wangji look over at Wei Wuxian who is in deep thought, 'this is when Jin-no Meng Yao is a spy for our side. We can't stop that, we have to let it happening.'

"We will leave in two day for Qinghe, make sure you all are ready to leave," Qingheng Jun looked at all five boys. "Yes sir."

Once the meeting with Qingheng Jun is over, they left from there. "Wei Ying, let's go get some training before we leave for Qinghe?" Wei Ying nodded his head as he follow Lan Zhan to the training ground.

"Those two sure got along well, right Wangji, Wuxian?" Lan Xichen gave the two a playful grin. Lan Wangji ear turn red, he glared at his older brother, "I will go write a message to Mingju xiong, he need to know that A-Die will be coming to the meeting in Qinghe." Lan Xichen left from there leaving Wei Wuxian and Lan Wangji to themselves.

"Wei Ying."

"It look like we can't stop Meng Yao from becoming a spy," Wei Wuxian turn to look at Lan Wangji.

"Look on the bright side, your didi isn't cultivating demonic energy. The Wen remnant is safe, the Jiang clan is safe. You were able to change the past."

Wei Wuxian smile, "Your right, I am the one with demonic cultivation now." Then an idea come into Wei Wuxian mind, "I know how to make sure no one it was me who is using demonic cultivation."
