Chapter 24

Jiang Fengmian, Qingheng Jun, Nie Mingjue and Lan Xichen is doing their best to fight Wen Rouhan but he is too strong for them. They still try their best, they want to take down this greedy and power hunger Xiandu as fast as possible.

While Wen Rouhan is fighting with Jiang Fengmian, Qingheng Jun, Nie Mingjue and Lan Xichen. He doesn't know that his life is about to very soon. A shadow is watching him fighting with the four people in front of him. He is waiting for that moment to strike down Wen Rouhan.

He see the right moment right now. He came out from behind the pillar and stabbed Wen Rouhan from the back.

Jiang Fengmian, Qingheng Jun, Nie Mingjue and Lan Xichen is all surprise and shock to see Meng Yao is the one who kill Wen Rouhan. The people on the field also finish off the last puppet that got control by Wen Rouhan.

"Xiao Ge, where is Da Ge? I went everywhere to look for him," Wei Ying asked with a worry tone in his voice.

"I will go find him. You stay in here with Lan Zhan, okay?" Wei Ying nodded his head. Lan Wangji look over at Lan Zhan, "Lan Zhan, keep an eye on Wei Ying okay? He only familiar with you and your family," after saying that Lan Wangji went to look for Wei Wuxian.

When Lan Wangji left NeverNight he heard, "Lan Zhan!" Lan Wangji look up into the sky, he see Wei Wuxian waving his hand down at him.

*Sigh* 'At least you are safe.'

Wei Wuxian landed in front of Lan Wangji, "How did it go in there?" Wei Wuxian look inside NeverNight.

"Is the same, Jin Guangyao killed Wen Rouhan. Your didi is looking for you, why don't we go inside?" Wei Wuxian gave a slight nodded to his head.

"Da Ge!" Wei Ying run to his brother when he see Wei Wuxian walk into NeverNight. 'I'm glad Da Ge is alright. I don't want anything to happen to him, I don't want to loose another family member.'

"Are you hurt anywhere, A-Ying?" Wei Wuxian patted Wei Ying head. He just smile as he shook his head no, "I got Lan Zhan to protect me."

"That's good to hear. Since we are all done here. Why don't we go find an inn in Qishan to stay in? I am sure that Jin Guangshan will come here to take all of the credit."

Lan Wangji, Lan Zhan, Wei Wuxian and Wei Ying left NeverNight, they walk to Qishan to get an inn to stay in.

"Da Ge, why did you say that Jin Guangshan take all of the credit. He didn't even come and fight and he didn't come to the meeting beside his wife and son." Wei Ying asked while they walk toward Qishan City.

"Because be one lazy clan leader, he doesn't want anything to do with the fighting nor does he want to get his hand bloody."

"So he a good for nothing clan leader?"  Wei Wuxian chuckle at this, "You got that right my didi."

Lan Wangji and Lan Zhan just sigh, the two can't believe how childish Wei Wuxian and Wei Ying is.

Once they arrived at the Inn, Lan Wangji get two room, one for Wei Wuxian and his didi and the other one is for him and his past life. "Lan Zhan, can you send a message to let your brother know where we are?" Lan Zhan nodded his head.

'I think is best for us not to be there. That place do bring back bad memories, also some sad one as well. The most painful one for me is when everyone went against Wei Ying.'

"Xiao Ge, I just send a message to Xiong zhang."

"Good. Shall we head down for dinner?"

"Okay, I'll go get Wei Ying and his brother," Lan Zhan went to the next room to get both Wei Ying and Wei Wuxian to come down for dinner.

While all four of them is eating their food, Qingheng Jun and Lan Xichen walk into the inn. They look up to see Qingheng Jun and Lan Xichen in front of them, "Xiong zhang, A-die, why are you two here?" The two sat down in the empty chair in front of them.

"You send us a message remember?" Lan Zhan forgot about it.

"Are you boys staying here?" Qingheng Jun asked.

Lan Wangji nodded his head, "Then make sure you come attend the banquet tomorrow at NeverNight."

"A banquet?" Wei Ying said with a slight confuse expression on his face.

"Yes, Jin Guangshan suggest that we should celebrate the defeat of the Wen clan."

"That man never change, oh that remind me," Wei Wuxian looked at both Qingheng Jun and Lan Xichen, "Xichen ge, Qingheng Jun, don't let Jin Guangshan become Xiandu. He will abuse this tittle, when this time come. I think you two should step up and let someone take this tittle."

"Da Ge, why not Xichen ge or Qingheng Jun?" Lan Wangji, Lan Zhan, and Wei Wuxian looked at the two of them. "Well the Lan is known for their righteous. They trail people depend if they deserve to live or die. But that is up to Qingheng Jun and Xichen ge."

"That true," Wei Ying also look at Qingheng Jun and Lan Xichen.

Qingheng Jun turn to look at Lan Xichen, "A-Huan, why don't you take the role of Xiandu? I will take over as clan leader. You are very wise and you will make the right decision. How about it?"

"Okay," this make both Lan Wangji and Wei Wuxian very happy to know that Lan Xichen will take the role of Xiandu, instead of Jin Guangshan.

On the next day, they arrive back at NeverNight for the banquet. Wei Wuxian and Wei Ying arrive with the Lan clan. "Da Ge, why is there a table at the top while everyone is sitting below them?" Wei Ying asked.

"Well it is suppose to be Chifeng Zun seat, he will denial it since he doesn't want to sit where Wen Rouhan is sitting."

"I see," soon the call for the Jiang clan and the Nie clan have come. They step aside to let both clan come inside of the big banquet hall.
