The next day the flare outside of the gate lit up the sky, this alert everyone that the Wen clan is attacking Gusu.
While Wei Ying and Lan Zhan is in the library reading or drawing, the two heard the sound of a flare going off. "Lan Zhan!"
"Mn. Let's go!" They two rush out of the library to go find their big brother but on their way to look for them the two see the Wen clan attacking their Lan disciple.
"Wei Ying stick with me, okay?!" Wei Ying nodded his head. So they went to help their fellow clan members. "Hurry to the back mountain! You will be safe there!" Wei Ying shouted to the Lan disciple.
They fight their way through the Wen clan, one after another, they were able to save some of the Lan disciple from getting kill by the Wen. The two tell them to head to the back of the mountain and into the cold cave.
"Da Ge! Da Ge! Da Ge!" Wei Ying shouted as he fight his way through many Wen at the front of Cloud Recesse. "You all get away from me!" Lan Zhan look over at Wei Ying who is fighting like crazy because he need to get to his big brother.
"Wei Ying!" Lan Zhan rush over to Wei Ying side, "Wei Ying! Calm down! We will find your Da Ge! You can't fight like this!" Lan Zhan said while taken down any Wen that is attacking them.
"But....but Lan Zhan...I can't let anything happen to my da Ge. He and I are the only family left we have of each other," Lan Zhan take Wei Ying over to a place where the Wen won't find them.
"Wei Ying, I know, I understand you. I'm here, Yuan Ge will be find as long as Xiao Ge is by his side."
"That's right, Xiao Ge is there too. Let's go," lan Zhan nodded his head. The two went back to fighting the Wen clan.
"Wei Ying!" Wei Ying look up ahead to see Wei Wuxian. "Da Ge!" Wei Ying run up to Wei Wuxian and jump on him.
"Da Ge!" Wei Wuxian sigh as he hugged Wei Ying back, "I'm glad your safe." 'I'm glad that lan Zhan is by your side.'
"Wei Yuan! Wen Xu!" Wei Wuxian pull Wei Ying back, "A-Ying, you and Lan Zhan go help other Lan disciple. When your done come look for us okay?" Wei Ying bite his lip, "I will be fine, Lan Xiao is here with me. Okay?"
"Okay," Wei Ying and Lan Zhan left from there.
"Wei Ying!" Wei Wuxian turn to look at Lan Wangji, "let's go find him before he head straight to Nie xiong clan to attack them."
After dealing with the Wen disciple the two went to search for Wen Xu. The two see Wen Xu fighting with the other Lan elder and Lan Qiren. He is way too strong for them, "Hey Wen Xu!" Wen Xu stop fighting the elder and look over at Wei Wuxian and Lan Wangji.
"Why not fight me and my friend here? Leave the Lan elder alone!"
"Fine!" He went forward to attack both Lan Wangji and Wei Wuxian. Wei Wuxian smirk, 'perfect,' "Lan Zhan let's go," Wei Wuxian whispered quietly to Lan Wangji to heard. "Mn."
"Come and get us Wen Xu or are you afraid to fight the two of us?" This got Wen Xu very angry and mad.
'Let's take the fight somewhere else, somewhere where no one will see me using resentment energy on Wen Xu.' They came to a clearing, there is no one is around them. Wei Wuxian wait for Wen Xu, "Do you think you can take him down, Wei Ying?"
"Of course, watch this Lan Zhan," just as Wen xu is about to come close to them, Wei Wuxian sent a massive resentment energy all around Wen Xu, "Suffocate him," the resentment energy enter into Wen Xu body, it start to shut down all of his body organ system. One by one, when all of them is gone Wen Xu died.
Wei Wuxian cleared the resentment energy, "Now Nie xiong clan is safe. Let's head back into Cloud Recesse."
"Mn."
When the two of them got back to where the fighting is at, they see Lan Xichen and Qingheng Jun fighting off the last of the Wen clan.
"Xiong zhang! A-Die!" The two look up to see Wei Wuxian and Lan Wangji walking toward them.
"I'm glad we have less casualties. Did you two see A-Zhan and Wuxian?" Qingheng Jun asked. Just as Wei Wuxian is about to answer Qingheng Jun two voice call out. "Da Ge!"
"Xiong zhang! A-Die!"
Wei Wuxian eye look at the white bandage on Wei Ying arm, "A-Ying your hurt?!"
"It was my fault."
"Lan Zhan it wasn't your fault. We were surrounded, we were helping the Lan disciple to escape."
"Lan Zhan, if Wei Ying said that it wasn't your fault then is not your fault. Did you get the healer to look at it?"
"Lan Zhan is about to take me there but I want to see you," this make Wei Wuxian very happy, "I'm fine now, go get your injury check okay?" Wei Ying nodded his head as he went with Lan Zhan to the healer.
"Wei gongzi, Wangji, what will happen next now?" Lan Xichen asked while looking around the place.
"Rebuild, indoctrination at Qishan Wen clan but Xiong zhang you need to warn all of the clan not to bring their real sword. If they do, Wen Chao will take it away. They need to bring fake sword and herb and medicine in case something happening."
"I will get to it, but our home."
"Xiong zhang, we will help you rebuild it. You should help A-Die to sent the message to other clan."
"Okay."
During the next few week Lan Wangji and Wei Wuxian help the Lan disciple to rebuild what was once burn down by the Wen clan.
"Da Ge! Xiao Ge!" The two look down to see Lan Zhan and Wei Ying, "Oh good timing!" Wei Wuxian jump down from where he is at.
"A-Ying can you help Lan Xiao with this?" Wei Ying nodded his head.
"Lan Zhan, I need you to go to the healer to make a few pouch of herb and medicine. Take burning medicine or herb and injury as well. Okay?" Lan Zhan nodded his head.
"Wei Yuan," Lan Wangji come down, "I will make fake sword for them, we need them to be ready."
"Okay."
"Xiao Ge! I need some help up here!"
"I'm coming Wei Ying."
Then the invitation from the Wen have come to all of the clan, Lan Xichen and Qingheng Jun already sent out a message to all clan not to bring their real sword but a fake sword instead and also herb and medicine with them.
"Da Ge! Why do we have to bring a fake sword but not our real one?" Wei Ying asked.
"Wuxian when we get there you will know. Is time to go," Lan Xichen turn around to walk down the stair, "Listen to Xichen ge okay?" Wei Ying nodded his head.
"I will take care of him Yuan Ge," Wei Wuxian smiled at Lan Zhan, 'I know you will Lan Zhan.'
"Wei Ying, we will need to go there, Mt.Xui."
"Mn. Let's head there and wait."
Wei Wuxian and Lan Wangji went to gather what they needed before heading back to Dusk Creek Mountain in case the other needed help. Soon the two of them head back to Dusk Creek Mountain to get ready when Wen Chao left them in the cave.
