"Maddie how was your christmas babe?" Kaya squealed as she saw me, Nathan, and Tom coming through the glass spiralling doors at the airport.

"Fine" I smiled fakely, what could I say "oh it was rubbish because I cheated on Nathan?" nobody would understand me.

"Wow, that bad?" Jay laughed noticing that I wasn't really into this conversation.

"No, it was good, Nathan came down on christmas day" I said trying to convice them, I needed to get better at this whole lying to people thing.

"Arw how romantic" Kaya smiled, I nodded my head in agreement as it was safer than opening my mouth again.

"Baby Nath getting all loved up" Jay winked behind me and I soon felt Nathan's hands on my hips, pulling me back to his body.

"Once she got over the shock, we had an amazing time" Nathan cooed. Before I had a chance to pretend to agree, I noticed a ring on Kaya's finger.

"Are you two getting married?" I asked in excitement, admiring the sprakling number on her engagement finer.

"Noooo" Jay surrendered his hands in the air.

"It's just a promise ring" Kaya laughed at my obvious disapointment, but still continued to show it to me, it was gorgeous.

"So, are you like the Jonas Brothers or something, all that no sex before marriage?" Nathan asked, mistaking it for a purity ring.

"No sex? Are you taking the piss Nathan, there's plenty of that" Jay smirked, lifting Kaya off her feet and spinning her round.

"Okay, we're just going to leave you two to it" Nathan grimaced and we walked away to greet the others. Caoimhe and Tom had been reunited and they were sat on the airport chairs talking.

"Good christmas you two?" Siva asked, loading his suitcase to make sure the weight was acceptable.

"Nathan went down to see her Seev, he's taken tips from you on the whole romantic releationship thing" Max informed Siva who looked on happily at us.

"And how was the lovely Thomas?" Max asked me as he pulled me into a hug.

"Oh you know...just Tom" I laughed a little too high pitched, making it sound fake and forced, which it was. Once we'd got the christmas talk out of the way, I'm sure I could begin to relax.

"Would you rather have no fingers or no toes?" Nathan fired at me.

"No...toes, wait would I still be able to walk?" I asked, contemplating the possibilities.

"I'm not sure, maybe, but how would you balance?" Nathan debated, we both sat pondering the idea for a while before Nathan poked his head over the seat to Jay, "Bird, if you didn't have any toes would you still be able to walk? Me and Maddie are just talking about it" Nathan asked him.

"So everyone else is talking about the mad time we're going to have in Ibiza, and you two are sat there talking about having no toes, you two suit each other, weirdo's" Jay laughed, pulling Nathan's cap over his face.

"Oi Jay, Nathan is the only wierdo in this releationship" I defended myself, poking Nathan in the ribs as he still peered down on Jay and Kaya.

"Right bitch this just got serious" Nathan laughed, pulling an evil face as he tried to create some more questions for me. We'd been playing "would you rather" for the past half an hour, because although it was only a short flight, we both had the attention span of goldfishes.
