My special birthday wishes to Devanshi ( sister of Aquaticangle ) celebrating her birthday on 3rd April. This chapter is dedicated to her. Hope you have a blessed year ahead yaar.

The next day which was Saturday went without a hitch.
On sunday morning, everyone in the Kapoor mansion were having their breakfast. It was leisure day for Ram and Priya. They sat there happily munching on their food chatting with shubu. Ram had already made shopping plans with Priya as Ram want to purchase new outfit for the award function which is going to happen on Tuesday.  They had planned to go for shopping after their breakfast. They were about to finish their breakfast when adi called Ram to inform about a sudden meeting. Ram agreed to come. After ending the call with adi, Ram informed about the same to priya who nodded relectantly.
Nandini: Priya are you free today?
Priya: ji.
Nandini: then why don't you go with vedika for shopping?
Priya: it's ok, I'm fine.
Nandini: just go with vedika, get yourself a nice outfit for the party. Vedika has an excellent taste. You should look great as it is a big day for Ram. Vedika is it okey with you?
Vedika: ofcourse no problem aunty. Infact I'm going for shopping now.
Priya you can join me and I would love to help you.
Ram: it's ok mom, Priya had already selected her outfit. So I don't think this shopping is necessary for Priya.
Priya looked at Ram gratefully.
Nandhini: she can get another outfit. There is no rules that she should have only one outfit.
Ram: but
Vedika: Why are arguing with aunty Ram?
Nandini: Don't I have any say in this Ram?
Ram: mom I didn't mean like that.
Priya: I will go with vedika mom.
Nandini: then it's decided, you both go for shopping after your breakfast.
Priya: ji mom.
Ram looked at his wife, who looked outright uncomfortable. Priya gave an it's okey look to him. He nodded at her and went to his room busy in his phone. Her Sunday is turning out to disastrous. Having no other way, she excused herself.
Vedika: we shall leave in an hour Priya.
Priya: okey.

Priya entered her room to see her husband busy working, she decided not to disturb him. She silently got ready first and kept all his things ready for him. He smiled at her and went to get ready. He came out to see his wife all ready to go for shopping with sulking face. He smiled and kissed her forehead, while she hugged him not willing to part from him.
Ram: already missing me biwi.
Priya nodded her head in yes, making him smile.
Ram: sorry Priya
Priya: it's not your fault.
Ram gave a small smile to her,
Ram: chalo, now be a good girl and purchase whatever you want.
Ram placed his credit card near her phone.
Priya: I will pay for it.
Ram: Priya
Priya: what, you don't have to gift me Everytime. I can pay for a dress Ram. You have already done a lot for me. I don't feel good in spending your hard earned money like this.
Ram: mine?
Priya looked at him who looked hurt.
Ram: I thought we were over this. You are keeping tab on the amount I spent on you. You really value my gifts as  money not as my love. Isn't it? I'm the idiot who thought you accepted me wholeheartedly.
Priya: Ram
Ram: I'm sorry. I will not make you uncomfortable anymore with my love sorry with my money.
Priya: Ram i didn't mean like that. You are getting it all wrong.
Ram: I'm getting late for the meeting.bye.
Ram went out leaving Priya to feel guilty. He looked hurt and the reason was her words. She chided herself for spoiling his mood. Her heart knows there is nothing wrong in spending his money but her mind never allows to enjoy it. She likes when her husband buys something for her, he never once flashed his wealth, he was always considerate and his gifts only reflected his love for her. He is the only one who pampered her with gifts, all her life it was she who kept on fulfilling her family's needs. She never enjoyed the silly pamperings and everyone in her family thought she doesn't like these kinds of stuff.  It's not their mistake, she created that image for herself as she didn't not want them to think about her or spend anything on her. But why is she pushing him away from her?  He have every rights on her.
