Vedika entered Kapoor mansion and went straight to her room, she was angry to the core. The way Ram behaving with Priya is becoming intolerable to her. How can he be this close to her? He had promised her that he will always love her forever. Now what happened that he had completely forgotten his love for her.
She did a mistake by choosing shashi as her life partner. But at that time he was the best choice she had. She was happy with her life until this Priya entered Ram's life.

Vedika sat in the lawn busy thinking of ways to make Ram remember his love for her when Ram approached her.
Ram: hi vedika
Vedika: hi Ram.
Ram: what are you doing here?
Vedika: just thinking about our life.
Ram: our?
Vedika: haan how everything would have been If shashi didn't come between our love.
Ram: vedika no one came between as there is no us or our. We both are separate individuals.
Vedika: I'm sorry Ram. I just remembered our past.
Ram: exactly vedika that is past and there is no use in thinking about it. You are just making everything complicated by thinking unnecessarily.
Vedika: you are right Ram. I'm sorry if I made you remember our past.
Ram: no vedika. Past doesn't matter to me. So there is no need for you to ask sorry.
Vedika: hm, I don't know what I'm going to do with my life?
Ram:  I came to talk about that vedika.

Ram: did you talk with shashi?
Vedika: no, its look like he doesn't care for anymore. He didn't even call me to know about my whereabouts.
Ram listened to her rantings patiently.
Ram: do you know where Shashi is now?
Vedika: will be in office.
Ram: he is in Pune for the past 5 days.

Ram: that's the point vedika, even you don't know your husband's whereabouts. He may feel like you don't care enough for him.
Vedika looked at him shocked listening to him.
Ram: there is no wrong in leaving your ego for the sake of your love.
Vedika: love? Kaise love Ram. I can't help but regret leaving you for the sake of my parents. See even now you are worried about my future.
Ram looked highly uncomfortable with way she was talking.
Ram: vedika you should forget your past and move on. There is no use in comparing your past and present.
Vedika: Ram
Ram: let me finish, I have talked to Shashi and asked him to meet me as soon as he reached here. He should be back by tomorrow. I will arrange a meeting for you both where you resolve your problems. you can talk to him once he returned from his trip.
Talk to him and sort it out.
Vedika looked at him not knowing what to answer.
Ram: shashi was in financial problem but that has been sort out. So he will be free from the stress. Now you both can give the much needed time for your marriage.
Vedika: did you help him financially Ram?
Ram: we have just signed a new contract with him which will help him  to cover up his losses. He was just stressed due to that. His love for you is same vedika. So you just relax. Everything is fine.
Vedika: you don't have to help him with business just for my sake Ram.
Ram: shashi is also my close friend and this is purely a business deal. I'm not doing any charity.
Vedika: but still thank you for doing this for me.
Ram: if you really want to thank me, there is another way.
Vedika: I'm more than happy to do. Tell me.
Ram: you have to
Vedika: I can do anything for you ram
Ram: I want you to live happily with shashi, think about your love for shashi. Give a fair chance to your relationship.
Vedika looked at him dumbfounded with his request, she simply nodded.
Ram: thank you vedika, mom will be happy to know this.
Vedika faked a smile, while Ram walked inside his home.

Vedika got up and went to nandhini's room to explain everything.
Vedika: I don't know what to do aunty.
Nandhini: it's look like he doesn't care about you.
Vedika: aunty
Nandhini: I'm just stating the fact.
Vedika: he is getting close with that Priya. Atleast I have shashi. Think about your situation.

With that vedika went out sulking leaving a angry nandhini alone without noticing shubu who was standing there.
Shubu who listened everything decided to confront his mom. Nandhini was first shocked hearing shubu, tried to manipulate him by fake tears but when shubu didn't budge she told the truth about her plannings with vedika in an irrational anger. Shubu warned his mother not to play with his Bhai and bhabhi's life. He gave her an ultimatum to stay away from his Bhai's life else She will have to face him if she tried to hurt his Bhai or bhabhi. Shubu went away while nandhini was shocked at the turn of events.
