Chapter 14: The Truth Shone

We went to the hospital, where according to the doctors Jungkook needed stitches.

They did their work and we went back to my house

"Do you feel better? Was it painful?" - I asked.

"No, not really. I felt it like I was at a dentist. I don't know why." - he replied.

"So, I guess you want to go home where Lisa is. I can drive you." - I said.

"Actually, I don't want to go back there. Understand me correctly, it's not that I want to bother you by staying in your house that much, but.... I feel like my place is here..... with you." - Jungkook took my hands.

I was speechless.

Again I heard something that both of us wanted, but every time something was stopping me from doing the next step.

"Jungkook, I... I also want it so much, but it's - it's impossible!" - I was looking at the floor.

"Wh-what do you mean?" - his eyes widened.

"I-i so much lo...." - the door bell ringed.

At that moment all the courage I had gathered to say the sentence just disappeared by itself.

I went and opened the door. It was Lisa.

"Get out of my way!" - she literally went through me by pushing me out if her way.

She went to Jungkook, who was confused by my unfinished recognition.

"Jungkookie! What happened, honey?" - she told him with sweet, kind voice and touched the bandage on his temple, causing him to flinch from pain.

"Oh, it doesn't matter, I'm fine now." - Jungkook uttered.

"What have you done to him again?! Why every time you're with Kookie something bad happens with him?! Do you believe it's a coincidence?!" - Lisa approached and yelled at me.

"I-i'm sorry,... I didn't want that to happen!" - tears occured in my eyes.

"I won't let you hurt Kookie anymore! Everything is by your fault!" - she said.

"Enough, Lisa! What do you want from him? Jimin, don't pay attention to her, she's so impulsive sometimes." - Jungkook tried to calm me down.

"Come on, Kookie, let's go home! Because you do have a home!" - Lisa took and pulled his hand, leading him to the front door forcibly.

"Lisa, calm down, please!" - Jungkook told her.

"We're going home!" - Lisa opened the door and pulled Kookie's hand. She closed it.

"What's wrong with you?! It isn't his fault! He helped me when I..."

"I don't care, Kookie! Maybe he brings you bad luck! I don't want you to be that close with him!" - Lisa scolded him.

I could hear them arguing next to my front door.

"You can't forbid me meeting him!" - Jungkook yelled.

"We'll talk about it later, okay?" - Lisa said.

They got in the car.

"Kookie, I realized I forgot my handbag. I'll go to take it. Wait here." - she told him.

Lisa knocked my door angrily. I opened. She invaded and closed the door.

"What do you think you're doing?! Leave my boyfriend alone! I'm sure his head is a mess right now, because of you! Find yourself someone else to buy you expensive cars without anything in return!" - she scolded me.

"What are you talking about?! I'm just trying to be his best friend! I don't want anything bad to happen with him!" - I replied.

"You're lying!" - she pointed me with her index finger angrily.

"I'm 99% sure you don't love Jungkook! What are you chasing?! What do you want from him?! Why are you playing a role?! " - I said.

Her eyes widened.

"Stay away from us!" - Lisa turned with her back at me going to open the door.

"Or you didn't set a trap to Taehyung to make Jungkook brake up with him?" - I yelled.

On Lisa's face there appeared an evil smile, which I didn't see. She turned to me and slapped me much more angrily.

My cheek was red.

"I won't let you violating my dignity!" - Lisa took her handbag and left.

I was confused. I jumped on my bed and started thinking. Did she say the truth? Is she really playing a role?

Someone suddenly texted me. It was an unknown number.

The message was saying: "You just argued with a murderer. Lisa killed Jungkook's parents in a fabricated disaster! She did it and then started giving Jungkook pills, which were encouraging him to commit suicide.

And all this to win Jungkook's trust by saving him from taking his own life. She also paid a rent killer to kill Taehyung, but it didn't work. Then she made him a trap and Jungkook broke up with him.

Lisa is a psychopath! She isn't good with her head! You're the next one, she will try to take out from her way! She doesn't do this, because she loves Jungkook, she's chasing something else! Beware!"

I was really scared from that message when I read it. Did I have to believe it or not?
