A/n, We get a little more perspective into Drace's mind, and the events of 'that day' become more clear in this chapter, i hope you guys like this chapter, and also, this will be my latest post for a while, as i do have my school books, that seek my attention. Please read and review!

And just like that. Time went on.

Drace kept pacing outside the medical wing. Pulling at his hair in frustration. God! Why was she so reckless! She should have done something...anything, good god. He pinched the bridge of his nose as he stood there. Watching people go by, walking around like nothing happened. How could the sun shine on a day like this?

Even though they weren't close, he felt for the girl, and was somewhat attracted to her. He sat down, leaning against the wall as he curled up his knees to his chest, light streamed from the window, lighting up his face and showing off the dark shadows under his eyes, now red, from crying previously. He knew he was supposed to be strong and all. He heard steps shuffle in front of him, and as he looked up, he saw a curly haired boy with green eyes, with an expression of worry looming over his face. He balanced his hands on his knees, trying to catch his breath, like he had rushed here.

"Hey, you okay?" The curly haired boy asked him.

Drace looked into his kind emerald eyes, and answered truthfully.

"Not really...my friend is in there." He replied with a long, loud breath, while pointing towards the big metal door that connected the school to the medical wing. With brass handles and carefully carved wings in the door, it looked like a door from an old palace. Wings, angel wings were the symbol of the school, and all the furniture of the school had wings, intricated into the tiniest parts.

Blaise's brows furrowed and his emerald eyes scrunched up just the slightest.

"Oh no...I am so sorry."

"What brings you here?"

"Um...actually, my best friend's in there, and I might be smiling right now, but I am actually really worried and afraid. I heard she had a stomach wound or something,"

Realization struck Drace.

"Athene?"

Blaise's eyebrows shot up, and he looked taken aback.

"Wait...yes, how do you know her?"

"I am the one who brought her in, she is the friend i was talking about."

"Oh god...oh no...how is she? What happened?"

"Well...she had a wound to the stomach, and apparently it was from earlier, because she had carelessly tossed bandages over it, but there was a lot of blood lost."

"Did you do it?"

"What!? Whoa...Why the hell would I do that to her? Why the hell do you think I would do anything to hurt her?!"

"Oh I do not know...but I have seen her look disturbed, after talking to you."

Blaise's expression grew serious as he knelt down in front of Drace while holding him by the collar.

"Whoa dude...calm down...i did not do anything to hurt her."

"Where did you get that bruise on your cheek then, huh?"

Drace absent mindedly touched his cheek, as he remembered the events of yesterday.

He had just finished doing his library assistant duties...putting books away, in order and section wise, and he was getting ready to leave for home. Hurriedly walking through the now dark streets. That's when he saw them. A big group of guys, with beer bottles littered nearby, making him know that they were absolutely wasted. He was ready and about to pass through there, but something caught his eye, and he halted.
