Holy crap. I messed up, you thought.
An empty silence filled the room, and you suddenly wished you could sink into the floor and die.
You called her mama, you idiot. That's so embarrassing. That's so-
Before you could continue your train of thought, Pepa had pulled away from the hug slightly. You were vaguely aware of everyone watching with wide eyes, but your heart was pounding too loudly to tell if they were saying anything.
"I'm sorry," you said quickly, and her green eyes softened, filling with tears as she placed a hand on your cheek. "I didn't mean to, it just slipped out! I-"
She pulled you in again, hugging you tighter this time. Your hands floated awkwardly just above her back, unsure what to do. The real Antonio walked over with a big grin on his face, pushing your hands flat against her back before scampering away.
Messy tears slid down your face once again, and you were surely going to be thirsty after this.
"It's alright, Mija," Pepa whispered, stroking your hair gently. Everyone had turned away, allowing you this moment to yourselves. "I'd be proud to call you my daughter." You smiled, swallowing hard as a lump formed in your throat.
She stepped back once more, still holding your shoulders and smiling through her tears.
"Plus, I do believe you'll be my daughter-in-law soon anyway." You blushed, bringing your hands to your warm cheeks and wiping away your tears.
"Thank you," you whispered, and she kissed your forehead gently before backing away.
Camilo made his way over to you, sliding his hand into yours.
"What happened?"
"Nothing much," you lied as he led you to the kitchen. Only everything I've ever wanted.

A month later, you stood in your (f/c) bridesmaid's dress, holding hands with Mirabel in her pretty dark blue one. Everyone had chosen the color of their suits and dresses, and they all looked perfect. Dolores was stunning in her gorgeous light orange one, matching with Mariano, and even little Antonio had gotten dressed by Pepa, who insisted he wear a red one.
"It suits you perfectly," she had gushed as she tightened his adorable tie, smiling down at his beaming face.
CJ had been forced into a nice tuxedo, but he had made sure it was the most boring color he could think up - gray. Jude and Isabela hadn't seemed to care much, but Felix and Pepa had shot him a disapproving glance when he announced it.
Camilo, of course, had chosen a handsome yellow tone, and looked adorable in a suit. Mirabel had sewn them all, making them even more precious in your eyes.
Dolores stood in front of you and Mirabel, watching with a large smile as Isabela walked down the aisle of rose petals in the middle of town. Lucía and Carlos were especially excited, whooping from the sidelines with the rest of the village. You noticed Julieta comforting a sobbing Agustine from the front line.
A fourth bridesmaid had been hastily picked after CJ was added as a groomsman so that Antonio would have someone to walk arm-in-arm with at the end.
Of course, Mirabel chose his best friend, Cecilia, and she was standing close to you, clinging to your dress. Her hair was in her trademark braids, and her wide brown eyes gazed at the scene excitedly.
"You may kiss the bride," the bald priest finally announced, shooting a nervous glance at Bruno for the millionth time. Jude grabbed Isabela's waist, swooping her down and placing a firm kiss on her lips.
