I smiled when I opened my eyes and saw Vincent sleeping soundly beside me, His face was mere inches from mine. I took my phone off the nightstand and checked the time: 2:19 am. I quietly got out of the bed and threw on his blue, fleece robe. God, I loved this robe. It was so big and so comfy, sometimes we would just use it as a little blanket whenever we cuddled to watch a movie together. I smiled at the old memory. It had been a long time since we had done that. We hadn't snuggled under this robe since before that day...

I snuck into the kitchen and grabbed myself a glass of water and took a Zofran for my nausea. Glass still in hand, I made my way to the bathroom to pee before heading back to bed.

Crash...

I froze in my tracks as I walked into the bathroom. The glass shattered and water went everywhere as I stared into his eyes. I wanted to scream, I wanted to run, I wanted to do anything I could...but I felt paralyzed. There was nothing I could do.

He's not real, I tried to mentally convince myself. Finally I was able to blink, but he was still there. I closed my eyes tighter and kept them that way and counted to ten in my mind, but when I opened them- he was still there, only now he was closer to me.

Finally, my mouth started to cooperate and I instinctively let out the loudest scream I had made since the day Danny attacked me. Within seconds, Vincent ran through the door and I fell to the ground.

"WHAT'S WRONG," he panicked and I slowly raised my hand to point at Danny who was wearing his mask.

But why? Why was he here?

I thought that he was behind bars. I thought that I wouldn't have to ever see him again. I figured that he must have escaped somehow and had come back to finish with me.

"Arielle, I don't understand," Vincent said sounding confused. "I don't see anything."

"It's Danny! H-he's here. He's going to-" I panicked.

"Danny's not here," he said trying to comfort me. "No one is."

I looked at him in shock. I knew Danny was there, I could see him plain as day, and he was still moving closer to me, grinning. I didn't understand how Vincent couldn't see him. HE WAS RIGHT THERE!

"HE IS! HE'S RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME," I continued to panic. "A-AND HES WALKING TOWARDS-"

"Listen, you are safe, Arielle," he said trying to convince me.

"N-NO! GET AWAY FROM ME!" Danny stood right in front of me now and towered over me.

"You'll never be able to tell anyone about this after I finish with you," he said in the most evil voice I had ever heard as he brought himself down to my level on the floor.

Before I knew it, I was gasping for air as I tried to pull his hands away from my throat...again.

"VINCENT, PLEASE! PLEASE SEE HIM!" I screamed my plea in terror. "I CAN'T BREATHE! I NEED YOU! PLEASE GET HIM OFF OF ME!"

Vincent's POV

The sound if glass shattering woke me up. My first thought was that someone had broken in. I instinctively went to grab Arielle so she wouldn't be afraid, but she wasn't there. Next I heard a blood curdling scream come from the bathroom. I jumped out of bed and took off to check on Arielle. As soon as I had made it in there, she fell to the floor.

"WHAT'S WRONG," I panicked as I took her into my arms.

She slowly raised her hand and pointed in front of her, but there was nothing there.
