Chapter 13. Personal Assistant

MEÍRA'S P.O.V

The lesson went painfully slow but eventually. My last period this after ended. I checked the time on my wrist watch. It's 5:30 pm.

"You can go home first hubby, I still need to go to Ms. president office. I don't want you to wait here." I said to Alex. She's about to argue but our other friends came.

"Meí why you're still here. Did you forget that you need to Ms. President office?." Bianca asked me.

"No I didn't, I just want to said my goodbye to you guys."I bid my goodbye to them.

"I will wait you here wifie."Alex said stubbornly.

"Me too I will wait you here Meí."Gab said too. I was about to talk when, Bianca cut me.

"Common guys, nothing will bad happen to Meí." She said.

"But--"Alex wants to argue again but I cut her.

"Please hubby, Gab you can go home first guys. You need a rest, I know you're tired."I said to them.

"Arghh. Ok fine, takecare when you go home ok?"Alex said to me.

"Are you sure Meí you don't want us to wait you." Gab ask worriedly.

"Yeah, you don't need to worry."I said to them and they nodded.

"You need to go now Meí. And we will go home now. Bye Meí takecare"Freya said and I bid my goodbye to them.

When they left, I immediately went to Avy's office. I hope she didn't wait long.
When I arrived infront of her office, I take a deep breath before I knock. I was about to twist the doorknob when it suddenly opened.

"Meíra what are you doing here."Ate Caily ask me coldly. Napalunok naman ako dahil sa boses niya.

"Ah. Hmm ate. Hmm Avy-- I mean Ms. President wants to talk with me." I said to her. Gosh why she need to look at me like that.

"Oh Ms. Carter come in. Love why don't you let her in." Kendra asked ate Caily from behind her. Ate Caily still looking to my eyes as if she's telling something with her look. I noticed that she's clenching her fist really hard.

"Love."Ms. Kendra said. Her voice is plain and cold.

"Come in Ms. Carter. Avy is waiting for you" Ms. Kendra said and open the door wide to let me in. Step inside awkwardly because of Ate Caily cold gaze.

"Sit down sweetheart." I blushed when she called me sweetheart infront of Kendra and Ate Caily.

"Thank you." I Whispered shyly because she grab a chair for me to sit down infront of her.

"I'm sorry, I'm late again Ms. President." I said without meeting her gaze. Gosh I'm really embarrassed right now when I saw that the Vice President is here too sitting on the couch. I heard Avy chuckled but I still didn't look up.

"It's ok, don't feel embarrassed. Chin up please, don't hide that beautiful face of yours." She stood up in front of me lifting my chin up so I can look into her eyes.

"Thank you beautiful." She said and took her sit in front of me. Gosh the words she uses I can't handle anymore, maybe my cheeks are very red now. I heard someone chuckled and speak...

"Hello Ms. Carter it's nice to see you here. I'm Adria Kim. I finally meet you. Vincent didn't tell us that he had a very beautiful cousin." Ms. Vice president told me. Yung hiyang naramdaman ko kani ay mas lalong lumala. Alam mo yon yung feeling na makatanggap ka ng compliment sa mas mataas sayo. Hiyang-hiya na nga ako kanina pagpasok ko dito kasi ang gaganda nila, kutis palang nila walang-wala na ako.
