Chapter 5: The Champion from Lanayru

A/n lime. be warned

Link woke up on a soft comfy bed, he looked around at the room he was in. It didn't take him long to deduce that this was Sidon's bedroom. There was a carved wooden table at one end of the bed with a bunch of photos on top of it, framed with the same blue material Zora's Domain was made out of. One of the frames pictured a photo of a red female zora Link recognised as Mipha, who was holding in her arms another very small red zora showing a toothy grin Link realised with a smile was little Sidon. 

He turned to his side and noticed that same zora, albeit a lot taller, snoring next to him. Moving quietly so as not to wake him, he crawled on top of him and relaxed, resting his head on Sidon. He felt the zora's chest rise up and down with his breath, as he inhaled and exhaled, slowly rocking Link at the same time; gradually lulling him to sleep. Eventually, Sidon woke up as well noticing the tiny hylian resting on him, he smiled at Link in adoration and wrapped his arms around him. After an hour Link awakened again and sat up Sidon sat up as well and crossed his legs around Link. 

"Good morning Link," He said cheerfully,

Link smiled and signed back to him,

"Good morning."

Link leaned back and rested his back on Sidon's abs, and reached up his arms, he started playing with Sidon's fins in his hands. Sidon's cheeks went a little red,

"D... Do you want anything to eat Link?" he asked shakily, his blush getting redder.

"I'm okay." Link replied,

Link turned around so that he was facing Sidon, Sidon averted his eyes. Link was hesitant but he decided to confess.

"Sidon, I think I love you." 

Sidon closed his eyes and took a deep breath...

"I love you to, Link."

Both Link and Sidon were a bit hesitant, but Sidon decided to do it and picked Link up from underneath his legs and kissed him. Link was a bit suprised but didn't pull back, he moved in and started making out with Sidon. His grip on him tightened as he kissed him back passionately, their tongues slided around each other happily, drool dripping onto the bedsheets. Sidon pulled back and started kissing Link's neck, slowly moving down his body. 

Link pulled off his shirt and hugged Sidon harder. Sidon was now kissing Link's abs, there were hickies all over his body. Link let out a little whine of pleasure, he had never had a relationship like this before and he felt so safe and comfortable in Sidon's embrace. He had always had high expectations from everyone, Zelda included. The Hero of Hyrule wasn't allowed to show weakness, or emotion, but with Sidon he felt like all that pressure was off his shoulders. 

"Let me kiss you." Link whispered,

Sidon was astounded, Link never talked, it was always sign language. He had assumed he was mute,

"Since when did you know how to talk?" he asked teasingly,

Link blushed harder and turned to the side, 

"I guess, no-one ever really needed me to talk, I was always told what to do, never really asked my opinion. In the end I guess I just ended up losing the confidence to talk and resorted to sign language." 

Although Link didn't make any noise Sidon noticed his face and it looked like Link was about to burst into tears. Sidon brushed back his fringe, and planted a kiss on his forehead

"Well, you can talk to me whenever you want, Link." 

Link smiled happily and giggled,

"Okay, my little pearl, would you like some breakfast?"

Link nodded, Sidon slid off the bed and picked him up. Carrying him the way a groom carries their wife

Sidon poured a cup of tea and passed it over to Link, then he poured another cup and took a sip from it. Sidon looked out the window, from his quarters you could see the square below in the Domain, and Mipha's statue in the middle. He gazed on at her wistfully, remembering all the memories he shared with her in his childhood. He looked over to Link who had just burnt himself with the hot tea,

"Do you remember her?" 

Link looked up at him,

"Remember who?" he signed.

"My sister, Mipha." 

Link sighed,

"I loved her so much. Everytime I was wounded she would heal me, whether it was a twisted ankle or a broken arm. I just wish that for once I could've saved her, after all the times she had saved me." 

As if on cue, Ruta, the Divine Beast let out a loud, mechanical cry, resembling the sound of an elephant. 

"Link, you never could have saved her. You were in Hyrule Castle, defending the princess. It wasn't your fault she died, It was Ganon's." He muttered under his breath. Link gazed out the window,

"I wonder what your father will think of this... of me and you..."

"The King? I'm sure he'll be okay with it. He may look intimidating but he's a caring person inside." 

Sidon looked out the window again, the rain had been getting heavier. The situation was getting worse, it would not be long before the imminent flood would occur. He could only hope that Link would heal in time.
