Link stepped into the Sidon's house, he looked around, Sidon wasn't anywhere. He walked over to the couch and sat down, still nothing, the entire room was completely quiet. He turned his head and gazed out the window. The sky was filled with hues of orange and yellow, it must be dusk. He was startled as he heard the door creaked, Prince Sidon appeared, upon seeing his eyes widened and a grin spread across his face.

"Link! You're back!"

Sidon rushed over and lifted Link up in a hug,

"Darling I missed you so much!!"

He squeezed Link harder and kissed his forehead, Link tapped Sidon.

"Oh of course,"

He released Link from the hug and set him down on the floor, Link walked over to the couch and Sidon followed. They both sat down and Link lay down, resting on Sidon's lap.

Sidon gazed down at Link and smiled,

"So, my pearl. How was Ruta? Were you okay up there?"

"Sidon... I... I met Mipha in there."

Sidon tilted his head to the side in confusion,

"Mipha? How could you have seen Mipha?"

"It... it wasn't Mipha, More like her spirit. When I was in there she gave me guidance, and she gave me something."

"What did she give you honey?"

Link sat up and reached into his belt, he pulled out the sheikah slate. He opened the menu and swiped until he got to a screen with 2 icons. One was a circle with the crest of hyrule embellished on it, a spirit orb with the number 3 next to it. That was how many shrines Link had completed, to the right of the orb was another blue orb, it had a kind of icon in it that looked like Ruta. When he clicked on it a pop-up appeared explaining that it was 'Mipha's Grace'.

Link pointed to it,

"She gave me this, I don't know how to explain it but while I was in there... she sort of... transferred her healing power to me, if it weren't for that I would probably be in the infirmary."

"How strange..." Sidon replied, slightly taken aback that his sister could even do something like that.

"Sidon... when I was in there, I had to fight something. It was huge, and ugly and I think Ganon made it. I think that..."

He trailed off and Sidon didn't need to hear anything else, that thing... must have been the one to murder his sister. Link's eyes started to moisturise, Sidon wrapped his arms around him and pulled him closer,

"Link, you're safe now. That thing is gone, you saved Ruta, you saved Zora's Domain, you saved Hyrule and... you saved me. You've performed so well, I'm so glad you're back."

A single tear rolled down Link's eye,

"Sidon it's not that. It's that- I- I won't be able to you again, I'll have to *sniff* g-go. I'll have to g-"

Sidon put a finger to Link's lips before he could finish his sentence;

"Shhh. I know, I know."

Link sobbed in Sidon's arms, mentally and emotionally exhausted after his trip in Ruta.

"Darling there is no need to cry."

As much as Link wanted to feel better, he just couldn't. He wasn't safe, the worst was yet to come. Sidon's comforting words seemed to just amplify the fact that he would probably never see him again. He felt so pathetic, so angry. He never wanted to be in this stupid bloodline, he didn't want to be chosen by the Gods. All he wanted to do was stay with Sidon until he died.
