Chapter 7: Reunion

3 weeks later...

"Amanda honey I'll be back in a couple days in the meantime I need you to be on your best behavior with your grandparents okay?" "Okay mommy I'm going to miss you." "I'll miss you too now I have to leave but I love you." "I love you too." Candace said as she stood back up. "Thank you guys so much for letting her stay with you guys for a few days." "Oh yes of course we love having little Amanda here with us now go before you miss your flight."

Candace gave her daughter one last kiss on her cheek and walked out their door and headed towards the airport. This was going to be the first time candace was going to be back in Danville. She was happy but nervous at the same time she wasn't to sure what to expect but it was time she visited her hometown.

Meanwhile by the time the plane had landed as candace was heading towards the main gates she saw Stacy Jenny and Vanessa waiting for her with a huge poster that read. "Get your ass! Over here CANDACE FLYNN!"

Candace immediately ran towards the girls and they all joined in a group hug. "Oh my gosh I can't believe we're all together again." Candace said cheerfully. "I know just like old times!" Stacy said. "So what do you wanna do first?" Vanessa asked. "We'll I would like to visit my parents and brothers first and get settled in and then we can go shopping and get our hair and nails done."

"Alright sounds like a plan let's go!" Stacy said getting Candace's luggage and putting it in the trunk. Meanwhile all the girls got inside the car and drove off to Candace's house and the whole ride over they were all singing at the top of their lungs to every song that was coming on the radio.

As they were heading into Candace's old neighborhood candace noticed Jeremy's old house and her smile instantly faded as they passed by it meanwhile Stacy who was seating next to her noticed how her mood changed instantly just by looking at his house and wondered if she could get them together at least once while she was out here visiting.

Meanwhile Jeremy was seating at his desk working on some projects for his job while Chelsea was laying on his couch watching tv when she received a text message from Coltrane.

Coltrane: Have you told him yet?

Chelsea: Not yet but I will don't worry 😉

She then looked over at Jeremy who was in work mode. "Jeremy?" She said "yeah babe?" He said not even looking in her direction. "There's something you should know." "Is it like really important? Because I'm kinda in the middle of something right now." He said as he continued typing in his computer.

"Uh yeah don't worry it can wait it's not that important." She said as she continued watching tv.

Meanwhile as candace and Stacy were upstairs in her bedroom getting ready to leave for the mall candace was looking through her old stuff when she found old picture of her and Jeremy along with other pictures and other stuff of his. As candace was looking through it she couldn't help but taken his scent.

As candace was holding his sweater to her face Stacy took noticed of this and walked up to her. "Candace? You okay?" "Huh? Yeah I'm fine" She said putting it back. "You sure?" "Yeah let's go to the mall I'm sure the other girls are already waiting for us there." Candace said grabbing her purse and heading out the door with Stacy following behind her.
