Chapter 5: Closure

"Why did you go away?" "you could never understand." "Try me" "because I didn't have a choice I had to." "Everyone has a choice candace you could've said something." "I couldn't it was to dangerous and it still is I love Jeremy, I love him so much but there's nothing that could have been done Stacy."

"You know it's been a month that you've been gone and he's still a mess he misses you every single day and he really doesn't understand why you just left you completely broke his heart."

"I know I did and that's something that I'll have to live with for the rest of my life but if I tell you what really went down you have to promise me that you don't tell anyone especially Jeremy."

"I promise candace I won't tell him." Candace sighed as she took a seat next to Stacy and proceeded to tell her why she and Jeremy broke up and why she left to London. Afterwards Stacy was in shock after hearing what his mom did. "I can't believe she forced you to break up with him that's terrible so I'm guessing she doesn't know about Amanda then?" Stacy said.

"No she doesn't and she can't ever know and even though I love him and I always will I know we can't be together."

5 years later...

Candace was finishing up her paperwork at the office for her clients. After she and Jeremy broke up she proceeded with graduating high school in and then proceeding with getting her degree in being a lawyer at she also had a beautiful 41/2 year old daughter named Amanda she had that beautiful golden blond hair like her father and his eyes she certainly looked like the female version of Jeremy.

Even though it had been 5 years since she last saw or even spoke to Jeremy she was never really able to move on from him she tried dating a few guys but none of it really went anywhere.

Meanwhile Jeremy had tried calling,texting, emailing, and even wrote letters to candace trying to figure out what caused her to leave. He even flew to London trying to get her to talk to him but he could never find her. Her grandparents kept saying she wasn't home at the time.

Eventually he learned to accept the fact that maybe she had already moved on and he should do the same. After he graduated high school and went off to college he met someone new who made him feel the way he used to feel when he was with candace.

They met the first night on campus and immediately hit it off and began dating in just 3 weeks of getting to know each other. He slowly began to get over candace and was slowly falling in love with his new girlfriend Chelsea. She's  a little shorter then candace has black hair to her shoulders length and beautiful green eyes.

They dated throughout their whole time in college and after they both graduated Jeremy became the head of his dads business and was able to get his own apartment in the nice area of Danville. Which of course his girlfriend spend a lot of time in even though they aren't living together she sure spends a lot of nights there.

It wasn't until 3 months ago Jeremy decided it was time to pop the big question and proposed to her which she of course said yes to.

It was a Friday morning and Coltrane was getting ready to head to the airport to go visit Jeremy after 3 years. "Hey Stacy are you ready I gotta leave right now?" "Yes I'm ready so how long are you going to be at Jeremy's place?" "5 days im going to meet his fiancé too." "Wait Jeremy's engaged!" I can't believe he would get in engaged!"
