Chapter 11: Deep Conversations

The next day...

Jeremy was pacing around the living room trying to figure out whether or not he should tell Chelsea what happened between them but he knew if he did come clean to her she would never forgive him and he knows their engagement would be off as well.

He didn't know how he let this happen he felt absolutely horrible about being unfaithful to her he had never been unfaithful with any girlfriend and the guilt was eating him alive after him and candace slept together last night he felt bad just sleeping with her and then leaving her alone so he decided to sleep on the same bed with her but the whole night he didn't get any sleep hardly all he kept thinking about was the voicemail and how he broke her trust.

He was relieved when candace left to work since it gave him some time to gather his thoughts and think about what he was going to say to candace and Chelsea. He knows he still loves candace that is something that is never going to change no matter what but he also loves Chelsea as well and the thought of losing either one of them hurts him he has already lost candace once he couldn't bare the pain of losing her again.

Meanwhile candace is busy trying to concentrate on her work but all that keeps running through her mind is Jeremy and how he made love to her last night the way he was so gentle with her and the way he made her feel. this was only her second time sleeping with him but it felt perfect to her.

She had dreamed about this for so many nights and now that it happened she couldn't stop smiling to herself. But her thoughts were suddenly interrupted when she heard her phone begin to ring showing Stacy calling her.

"Hey Stacy what's up?" "Hey candace I just wanted to check in with you and see how things were going for you and Jeremy?" "Um there actually going very well a lot better then I expect." She said blushing. "Oh wow that's good to hear there's nothing going on between you guys right?"

"We'll we sort of had a slip up." She said nervously. "A slip up what do you mean? You guys slept together?" Stacy asked shocked. "Yeah yeah we slept together last night and it felt amazing." "Candace I'm so happy for you but isn't he engaged?"

"Oh shit I completely forgot about that oh my gosh Stacy I feel horrible now." "Candace breathe listen it's not like you did it on purpose or anything." "Yeah I suppose your right." "So what do you plan on doing now?" Stacy asked.

"I don't know I guess I have to go home and talk to him about this and see what he plans to do about his relationship." "Yeah that would be a smart idea to do." "Yeah I'll talk to you later and let you know how it goes." Candace said hanging up.

Jeremy was seating on the couch waiting for candace to walk through the door and talk to her about what happened between them he was so nervous about saying the wrong thing and upsetting her the last thing he wanted was to hurt her feelings. As he continued to think about what he was going to say to her he looked up instantly hearing her walk through the front door.

"Hey." He said standing up. "Hey" "Um I was wondering if we could talk." "Uh yeah let me just change into some more comfortable clothes give me like 5 minutes." She said walking to her room. Jeremy began nervously pacing around the living room he had send Amanda to her room a few minutes before candace arrived so they could talk without any interruptions.

After 5 minutes candace came out in a long sleeve red shirt and white long pajama pants with her hair in a bun. "So what do you want to talk about?" She said taking a seat on the couch.

"I wanted to talk to you about last night... candace I don't know what came over me last night but I feel like shit because I cheated." She sighed and looked down on her hands. "I'm sorry you feel that.. I'm not trying to ruin your relationship." "I know your not I don't regret what we did last night." "Me neither it felt perfect." She said smiling at him.

"Yeah it felt perfect to me to but since I'm still in a relationship it can't happen again not until I figure out what I'm going to do about my relationship." "Ugh your kidding right?" She huffed. "No why?" "You slept with me and then you want to go back to her."

"Candace I'm engaged to her I made a promise to stay faithful!" "Yeah well that went to hell now don't you think?" "I don't know I have to talk to her first and then see. "I understand Jeremy you sleep with me and then your going to go sleep with her?" "Jeremy sighed running his hands through his hair. "I don't know what you want me to say candace I feel like terrible about it."

"You know what I don't even want to hear your excuses I was stupid to think you actually wanted something more then a one night stand." She said beginning to walk away until she felt him gripping her wrist. "It's not like that candace!" "Let me go!" She said pulling her hand away. "You know what just go back to your girlfriend." She said slamming the bedroom door on his face.

"Fuck!" He said grabbing his backpack and heading out the door he knew he loved her but he also loved Chelsea and he had to figure out who he was willing to fight for. He grabbed the first flight he was able to get and headed back to Danville.

It was currently 3 in the morning when Jeremy finally arrived to his apartment even though he had only been gone for 5 days he knew he had to confront Chelsea about it as soon as possible so he decided to send her a message to meet him at his place as soon as possible.

It was 7:15 in the morning when Chelsea saw a text message from Jeremy letting her know he was home and wanted to see her a soon as possible so she got dressed real quickly and made her way over to his place.

As soon as she entered his apartment she noticed him sleeping in his bed she went to kiss him on his forehead which startled him making him jump out of his bed. "Shit Chelsea you scared me." "Sorry I didn't mean to." "It's okay" he said getting up.

"I need to talk to you." He said walking to sit on his couch. "Okay what do you wanna talk about?" She said seating next him. "Ugh your going to hate me afterwards but I made a mistake." He said looking down. "Why?" She asked. "Listen I don't know what came over me but I slept with her the other day."

"You what?" "I didn't mean for it to happen! It's just one thing lead to another and I'm so sorry." "Your sorry! Jeremy were supposed to be getting married! When I said yes I mean it!" "So did I" "really because it surely doesn't seem like it to me." "I'm so so so sorry I feel like shit over it." "Well you should!"

"Can you ever forgive me?" He asked. "I don't know maybe if I do forgive you you have to promise me something." "What is it?" "I can forgive you but only if you promise to cut her out of your life for good as well as your daughter forever." "What?" "It's the only way I can ever trust you again it's me or her." She said looking at him as the tears streamed down her face.

"Who is it going to be?" "I choose."

Aaaaaaahhhhhh cliffhanger Ah I love a good cliffhanger sorry guys but I had to do it anyways I'm sorry it took a little longer to update this chapter I'm currently working on three other really good stories and I'm trying to decide which one of them will be the next one to get released and trust me your not going to want to miss reading them!
