Argh! Hungry... I really can't sleep because I'm so hungry. I got out from my room and go down to kitchen. I think I can make some night snack with milk, biscuits, and honey so my hunger can go away and I can sleep after that.
It was 1am, all lights downstairs were off. I sneak like a thief, past dining table, and go to kitchen. I'm not turn on the light and just took a bowl and milk from fridge, then looking for toppings for my night snack.
I found biscuits, Kitkat, Ferrero Rocher, honey and Pocky, and then I crushed them with my hands and sprinkled in my bowl.
I'm sure my emergency snack will really yummy. I mix well everything in bowl while singing and dancing into the fire dance that I learned this afternoon during practice. And then take my bowl to microwave.
"Oh oh oh oh oh.... Get up get up.... We gotta gotta get up." While waiting my snack for 5 minutes in kitchen, I use my time for practice dance again, prepare for our first Into the Fire performance in two days. I'm always in a good mood when waiting for food.
"Ting!" It's been 5 minutes. I opened cabinet on stove to get some cinnamon powder, and then...
"Argh. Damn! So hurt!" My head hit cabinet door I opened. Being tall is very difficult. After I finished sprinkling cinnamon powder on my night snack, I bring my snack to dining table.
And when I turned on dining room light, my heart almost jumped out...
"Heyyyy!!!" My bowl almost fell when I saw some figure sitting in dining room.
"Nine!" I holding my heart, I was fucking shock saw Nine sitting there silently.
"Keyu you startled me! Why you screaming?!" Hey, who should be shock is me!
"Since when you there?!" I still holding my heart as I put my bowl on table and sit across from him. I really scared before, because I thought Nine is ghost.
"I've been sitting here since earlier..." Nine sit there with holding his phone.
"My heart almost jumped saw you sitting alone here in the dark like this. Did you know I was in kitchen before?" Nine nodded.
"I want to say hi to you, but you just rushed straight going to kitchen and start singing." Wait... so Nine...?
"No...!" I covered my face with both my hands.
"So you heard me sing in kitchen?" Nine nodded while smiling at me.
"You saw my dance too?"
"Are you dancing in kitchen?"
"No. forget it." At least he didn't see me dancing weirdly before. But still, this is very embarrassing. Does that mean he also heard me swearing when my head hit cabinet door? Argh! So fucking embarrassing!
"What you doing here alone?" I sit staring at him, Nine's eyes look sluggish from beginning.
"Huh? No. Nothing, I just to sit here..." I'm still staring at him, I think Nine noticed my gaze. He glanced at me and straightened his seat.
"Actually I just call with Kazuma here..." Nine looked at me again with a smile. I know that smile, that awkward smile that Nine always use when he wants someone think he's happy.
"Talked about Mika...?" Without I know, I heard some voice coming out from my mouth. I immediately saw Nine in panic.
"Keyu, you..." Yeah, Nine was surprised by my words. I didn't mean to say that at all. I was wondering why I said that.
"Huh?" I waiting to Nine continue his word.
"You now about me and Mika?"
"Yeah. Actually I'm not sensitive to things like that, but I can't help just know you and Mika dating."
"Are we too obvious?"
"Not really." I took my spoon and start eating.
"Nine, are you hungry? Want me to make some snacks for you too?" I ask him.
"No, Keyu thanks. I'm not hungry..." Nine answer. I nodded, in awkward silence, I started eating my snack again, and then...
"Krukkk krukkk..." That voice was very low but sounded very clear in my ears in this silence. It Nine's stomach sound. I looked at Nine while swallowing food in my mouth, Nine was holding his stomach then looked at me shyly. I wanted to laugh, but I tried my best to hold it. Hungry Nine just very cute.
"Wait a minute here." I immediately go to kitchen, made night snacks for Nine.
"Keyu, your food will be cold. Just eat first..."
"Wait there a moment." I quickly sliced strawberries, put them in a bowl with oats and low fat milk and honey, mix them and put in microwave. Set for 5 minutes.
I saw Nine from where I'm standing front of microwave, he sitting still holding his phone. I think something happened between Nine and Mika.
These few days, they weren't as close as usual. Mika often uneasy by himself, and Nine... he's same. Yes, actually I've known about Nine and Mika's relationship for a long time, even before I have movie date with Nine. I just... pretended don't know anything.
Yeah... I've never dating anyone before, but Nine, he's not my first love too. My first love is my classmate in elementary school, she was my neighbor. Her hobbies are ordering me to buy snacks for her, and carrying her school bag when we go home from school. She likes to help me when other kids bother or bullying me and fight for me.
But when falling in love with Nine, I experienced many new things that I never experienced before. I really feel like all parts of my heart I have used to love him, I'm happy when I saw smile on his face, my chest really beating so fast when he hugged me, I was so happy every time he said he loved my cooking. Nine is like my real first love.
I know he's dating Mika, but strangely it doesn't affect my feelings for him at all. In fact, day by day my feeling for Nine just like a plant that keeps being watered, keep growing and growing.
I lost in my thought, then remember again when last time I go movies date with Nine. Honestly, I'm really waiting for that moment, dating with him is something I've been dreaming for a long time. And yeah, I had wonderful moment with Nine all day. But, only that... Just....having fun together.
I think if I confessed my feelings to him, it would make me feel relieved. So, when we go together that time, I was planning to confess to Nine when we get home, and release butterflies in my stomach.
But plan is just plan, because when I'm gnna say it in car, at the last second, my head suddenly filled with fearness. Because.... I know, if I confessed to Nine that time, Nine will definitely reject me... And say that he loves Mika and just sees me as a little brother.
"Keyu, what happened?" My mind immediately interrupted when I heard Nine's voice calling me. Since when Nine standing next to me?

"Ting!" Microwave sound. 5 minutes is over.
