The Things That Nine Scare The Most

Sichao's POV

"Sichao, this is already very good. Perfect!" I'm listening my last recording for my first solo single If I'm With You, with team in recording room.

"Yeah, I think the last record is the best. I feel more comfortable when I singing." I focused on listening my voice recording in studio.

"Okey! You just have to wait for the results. I'll send you full song tomorrow." Says one composer.

"Okay. Send me the song tomorrow, okay? I'll go first then." I asked permission to go first.

"Sure. Thank you for your hard work today."

After recording since noon, now it's finally finished.

Since I heard that INTO1 was practice in wjjw building, I intended to approach them in practice room and at the same time I really want to meet my best friend Xiao Jiu and Liu Yu.

I quietly entered INTO1 practice room, they were break. I saw Jiayuan, Lin Mo, and Bo Yuan, then Xiao Jiu. I planned to startle Xiao Jiu from his back, but the closer I got, the more I knew something wrong with my best friend.

He looks gloomy and uneasy.... I saw him from afar, he kept looking at Mika who was sitting alone with his phone at corner. Are they fighting?

"Xiao Jiu..." I patted Xiao Jiu's shoulder and smiled instead.

"Chaochao!" He looked at me and smiled. Yeah, I'm sure something happened with my Xiao Jiu. I can see that, by Xiao Jiu's eyes.

I asked Xiao Jiu to go with me to wjjw café, so we could talk more freely. I bought two bottles of lemon water from vending machine, then go back to our table. I watched it from afar, Xiao Jiu just kept leaning his head on table.

"What's wrong? Something happened right?" We both never chit chat. Xiao Jiu sit straight again. He kept looking at me without answering.

"Why? Fighting with Mika?" That was the first thing that came to my mind when I saw them in the practice room earlier. Xiao Jiu shook his head, then holding his lemon water bottle.

"Then...?"

"Chao... What should I do? I think Mika will break up with me..." Xiao Jiu said it while continuing hold his bottle, then looked at me.

I saw Xiao Jiu's eyes, he looked... so scared. Honestly I was very shock with what Xiao Jiu's say, but I tried to hide it. I want Xiao Jiu to be comfortable talking with me.

"You talk nonsense Xiao Jiu. That's impossible. Mika loves you." Xiao Jiu didn't look at me, he continued staring at bottle he was holding and didn't stop shaking his head. Like, Xiao Jiu not agreeing with what I said.

"Tell me what happened... why you even think like that?"

"Chao, Mika's mother knows my relationship with Mika. And she... Mika's mom was opposing it."

"Are you sure? How did you know about that? How do you now Mika's mom not agree with Mika?"

"Kazuma told me..."

"Kazuma?" I still don't understand.

"Mika look so uneasy and like he has a lot of things in his mind lately, and several times I've heard Mika arguing with his mom on phone. I very worried about him. But when I asked Mika directly, he didn't want to tell me. Then I contacted Kazuma. He said, Mika's mom reads Kazuma's chat with Mika and knows Mika dating with me."

I don't understand why Xiao Jiu keeps trying to smile at me when I know now he's trying really hard holding back his tears.
