The Hard Day (3)

Liu Yu's POV

"Tettt! Tettt!" Our house bell rang.

"Liu Yu! That's our ice cream!" AK immediately stands up and runs outside.

Because there are many members at home, I ordered Baskin-Robbins to eat together. It's already 9 pm, but I haven't seen Xiao Jiu yet. This afternoon is last time I saw him.

"Poor Xiao Jiu, every day he keeps looking for Liu Yu when Liu Yu is not home. Now Liu Yu here, but he is the one who is not here." Said Riki smiling sitting hugging pillow.

"You guys know where is Xiao Jiu?" I asked members gathered in family room.

"When I get home, I always check sandals on door and know right away who isn't home." Jiayuan said.

"Zhou Keyu, Mika, Xiao Jiu, and Patrick!" Said Jiayuan again.

"Keyu, Mika and Patrick have work today." Said Bo Yuan ge.

"Mika should have been home this afternoon." Santa was a little confused. Then I saw Jiayuan smiled.

"What the hell Jiayuan. You're so weird smiling like that." Lin Mo glanced at Jiayuan with a scared face.

"Xiao Jiu with Mika then!" Jianyuan shouted. All members looked at Jiayuan.

"Of course! Who else would Xiao Jiu go with if not Mika?" Said Jiayuan again.

"May be." Bo Yuan ge agree.

"Guys!!! Ice cream coming!!!!" AK brought a bucket of ice cream that I ordered. I went to kitchen and get spoons for all members and join eat ice cream.

I was holding this spoon all along, but I didn't even try ice cream one bit. I was busy waiting for Xiao Jiu. He'll really love this ice cream. I also bought his favorite strawberry ice cream scoop.

The ice cream was half finished by AK and Lin Mo. Then I heard Lin Mo's voice...

"Xiao Jiu come here! Ice cream!" Lin Mo saw Xiao Jiu walking from front door through the living room. I immediately looked at Xiao Jiu, I only had time to see his back walking into basement.

"Didn't he hear me?" Said Lin Mo wonderingly as he licked ice cream on his spoon. Yeah, Lin Mo saw Xiao Jiu walking quickly without saying hello. Xiao Jiu never like that.

Not long after Xiao Jiu, Mika appeared. Mika entered with wearing sunglasses inside the house, and without even greeting us. He just continued to walk fast to his room on second floor. Then I saw Santa standing up and walking quickly after Mika.

I'm sure there is something wrong. I thought for a while before I finally decided to go to Xiao Jiu's room.

"Xiao Jiu!" I knocked his door. He locked it.

"Xiao Jiu, are you sleeping?!" I knocked door harder. I'm sure something happened. I put my ear close to door, I heard something even though it was so quiet. Xiao Jiu not sleep yet.

"Xiao Jiu!" I banged on door harder without stopping.

"I know you haven't slept. Do you want to open it, or I'll get a spare key?! Xiao Jiu!" I kept banging on his door. I have a bad feeling.

"Xiao..." Finally Xiao Jiu opened the door. His eyes... were red and wet.

"Why?" Asked him. He tried to smile at me, but he couldn't fool me. I barged in.

"What you doing?" I asked.

"I'm just tired..." Xiao Jiu walked towards window, give his back to me. I approached him, past the bed. Then... I saw a lot of tissue on floor. Xiao Jiu was crying the whole time... I walked to the door and closed it tightly and come to Xiao Jiu again.

I saw Xiao Jiu folding a tissue and sticking it to corner of his eyes. He cried silently... he continued cry without letting his cheeks wet.

"Xiao Jiu..." I turned his body towards me. I... want to see his face. I want to see his sadness. He kept his head down and pressed a tissue to corner of his eyes.

"Liu Yu, I'm little bit tired... can you please get out from my room? I want to be alone..." He tried to smile at me. His face...

"What happened?" His eyes kept avoiding me. He didn't answer me and kept shaking his head.

"Did you eat with Mika before?" When I said that, Xiao Jiu looked straight at me. Tears came out of his eyes, running down on his cheeks. Before Xiao Jiu wiped it again with a tissue, I grabbed his hand and blocked it.

"It's okay to crying..." I said.

Xiao Jiu kept looking at me while crying, now his whole face is wet. And I... I immediately hugging him. Xiao Jiu hold his breath as he tried to hold back his tears.

"Just cry..." I hugged Xiao Jiu while rubbing his back. The longer I hugging him, the more I heard his voice crying.

Why his cry hurts my heart really bad? I want him to cry until he's tired on my arms.

I gave up because he was happy. But now... he crying...
